Afternoon all,
As of this year we have received the world wide web in kelmscott so am still learning about this internet forum and chat stuff. It has been enjoyable reading this forum all year especially B grade write ups so thanks MrM. That being said I haven't had the urge to sign up and write a reply until now as I am from kelmscott and have to clear a few things up even though I'm probably wasting my time as perceptions will never change. Firstly, the number 25 bonehead the league side played against on the weekend had a role, either by the team or self appointed. His role was yes, to 'niggle', which to his or the teams credit worked as kelmscott gave away free kicks and 50m penalties for retaliating all first half. This niggling though involved full blown punches into opposition players stomachs wait for it....off the ball...he was the dirtiest player I have ever seen. Now I, the coaches, or the club don't (and never have) condone fighting on a footy field but if the alleged incident happened that the bozzo copped a bit of his own medicine then justice was somewhat restored. There is a difference between niggling and throwing countless punches off the ball.

Secondly MrM, maybe some sour grapes when describing kelmscotts win as a result of dirty play? The team thriving when the nonsense was going down just so happened to be your 'roo boys'. When the game cleaned up and football was being played the way it should be, THAT is how the bulldogs won the game. By simply playing football. The club has a long way to go but rest assured discipline is the number one priority ATM. Why wouldn't it be when it's bleeding obvious the league side is unbeatable when the pill is the number one focus.

AngryAnt, always enjoyable to have a newcomer to the site and especially in B Grade. You weren't that angry bloke from Kelmscott who kept on shouting "not so loud are you now Roos?"

You're right though, there is a big difference between niggling and punching somebody to stomach. Also a massive difference between that and punching a players head, but we won't go into those details. Calling him the dirtiest player you have ever seen is a massive call and somewhat slanderous.

Secondly I didn't say Kelmscott won because of dirty tactics, infact I said they played good football from half way through the third quarter and onwards to get the win. I wouldn't call them unbeatable, because nobody is unbeatable...I saw that last season...

However I've seen some dirty things on a football field, hitting somebody when they aren't looking is the worst. Not just in football, but in life. I'll also mention Kelmscott had more cards than Wanneroo on the weekend...

No that wasn't me the user name actually opposes my normal personality to be honest. Cards don't necessarily reflect which side was 'dirtier'. Probably 70 percent of stuff doesn't get picked up at all. Don't mean to sound slanderous just calling it as I saw it and that "boy" wasn't out there to play the ball

What i didnt find hilarious Mr M was our efforts on the weekend against Collegians sending us down to C Grade.
Looks like Schammer might have called on a few favours to get his team over the line this week and unfortuntaly we didnt play to the standard we had in the last 2 weeks

Scham didnt call for any specific favours... it's just we got a lot of our players back like I said in the preview for this round.

We defiantly think we had a wasted year because when we had everyone around we played some good footy.

Watch out next year though, but this week we look forward to playing the cheating, dirty, cheap Kelmscott scum. Hopefully cause some damage

The league game was very interesting. We should have won and made it through to finals and equal kelmscott on the ladder. When kelmscott lose and dont make the grand final we will have our revenge next year and hopefully beat them next year. Their talent i admit was too much for us on saturday, we couldnt play all 4 quarters and im hoping especially our amazing chips from the canteen from which it is world renown, will alone actually boost our 18 year old muscles to be men and be of a decent standard in B-grade; we have a long way to go if we want that flag

Yeah sounds just like our change rooms Bulldog... I'll let you in on a little secret on the difference in mind sets between the region of Kelmscott compared to Dalkieth/Cottesloe/Peppermint Grove .

Unlike Kelmscott, we don't feel the need to pump all our life savings into our little football club which means the world to us. Our lives don't revolve around spending money on outside players to try give us that one bit of success in life on a Saturday morning. At collegians, we know their is a lot more to life than spending our money on having that bit of a joy on Saturday. So yes, that is why we have shit house change rooms and club rooms compared to the high class facilities of Kelmscott, but the one thing I do know is that when our Saturday is over, we are happily going off to our riverside and beachside houses and planning when our next skiing trip is our when our next Europe summer trip will be.

Enjoy your time while your at your grand old beloved Kelmscott change rooms, because its not gonna last long and then soon enough, you will have nothing to look forward to.
