Well finals are getting closer and there is still a mad rush to secure home finals and weeks off amongst the top three! No real surprises last week, although I did think we would have a better showing vs Kenwick and Ellenbrook took it right up to DM, while their ressies had their first loss, makes you wonder if a couple players were promoted for the game??

Only three weeks left to go and a couple of the top 5 still to have a bye which makes it interesting



Balla Vs East
Balla had no problems against Cockburn and I think won’t have any issues this week either. East Freo are coming off the bye and should be nice and fresh, but they better switch on quickly or this game could be over by quarter time! Balla to win by 12 goals

DM vs Swan View
Dianella got tested last week against Ellenbrook and will be better for the scare, up against a fellow finals contender in swan view who will be on a high from last weeks 10 goal win. Dianella should keep their roll going here with a comfortable win, DM by 6 goals

Manning Vs Kenwick
After seeing Kenwick last week in full flight, I think Manning may be a little out of their depth here. Kenwick run hard and had very good foot skills, while manning are struggling at best. Dare say another percentage booster on the way for Kenwick, they will win by 18 goals

Brentwood Vs Cockburn
Brentwood still scorned by last weeks effort has seen a slight improvement on the training track, while Cockburn will be looking to avenge last weeks efforts. Should be a good game down at the kennel, I know last time Cockburn gave us a good run for our money so hopefully we can gain control early and get the four points to maintain some distance between us and swan view while keeping in touch with the top 3! Brentwood by 5 goals

Ballajura v East Fremantle
Ballajura play Kingfisher very well and I think they will get a good win over a resilient East Fremantle side. Balla by 8 goals

Dianella Morley v Swan View
mathematically Ellenbrook could still take that 5th spot as unlikely as it is so swan view will be hoping to lock away their spot. I don't think it will happen this week though facing a very strong Dianella Morley squad at home. DM by 5 goals

Manning v Kenwick
last time we played manning we kept their league side to the lowest score so far and scored the highest score against them so far. Manning will be hoping to make amends for that but we are certainly not going to take them lightly.

Brentwood v Cockburn
Brentwood are coming off a surprisingly large loss to Kenwick. I think that was an off day and they should recover well against Cockburn. Brentwood by 6 goals

Ellenbrook with the bye makes making finals a very difficult task. they have to beat Brentwood and Ballajura while hoping that swan view lose to Dianella and Kenwick. they are also 3% behind swan view which at this stage of the year will be hard to make up
