Nice to see dianella get up as I was standing on the sidelines I heard ellenbrook celebrating at half time like they have won the game I'll tell u this eeeeeeels it's a 4 qtr game and the look on ur face when dianella scored 4 straight was priceless lol
Also the drainage on the field was excellent don't mind watching players swim in the mud to grab the ball

Full credit to Ellenbrook (beat you to it RedBoots) they challenged us yesterday as we knew they would and were in front most of the day. Even after we hit the front with not long to go in the last they had a few opportunities to take the lead back but we held on! Was a great win by the boys!

The boys in ellenbrook definitely came to play, gave DM a challenge good win to the Raiders

Well I managed to get done to coolamon to watch two cracking games of football
Even know I was in the car sipping hot tea haha well to start with the reserves it looked liked a one sided game with dm winning just about every contest even know it was a low scoring game and managed to keep the heavy weight champs that havent dropped a game scoreless they played like are league team and not your average greedy reserves sides so well done boys


Now for the league game the sun came out a little abit and wow we what a cracker this was ellenbrook came out of the blocks like a greyhound kicking the first couple of goals and seem to be using the ball really well taking over head marks moving it around really well for the conditions and puddles on the track they definitely came to play and were in front at half time and yes I have to agree with twinklingaround they sounded like they had won the game already third quarter dm seem to find there way back in the game and were starting to fire on all cylinders come fourth quarter dm started to play like a fine tuned drag car with there back line running out just about every ball that went inside eels forward 50 with one guy running it out like it was a dry day (red boots) I think they called him ? also there midfield players wer starting to supply there old cunning forward line players with plenty of the ball witch helped them get back within a point with five or so minutes to go it was a real nail biter with both teams playing some of the best footy iv seen in a long time but dm scored a sealer and ran out the game like true champions well done DMFC there really looking the goods at the moment it will be very interesting come finals !!!

On the other side of the coin, It was a devastating loss. I don't know how much we went down by, but when DM started to shut down the game, I gathered we were behind and there wasn't long to go.
With out a doubt we could have taken the points, but let it slip, not taking a handful of opportunities we created for ourselves.
Great contest. It had to end in tears for some one.

interesting weekend for football. the weather just couldn't make it's mind up, seems Perth has decided to become Sydney for a while having all seasons in the same day.

the tipping ladder had major change this week with Footballr not putting his tips in letting Gotheball push back out to a 2 tip lead. gotheball was one of 4 tippers to get the four the others being. Redboots, Sticks and myself.

Yep horrible day down at Mills park, we got our arses handed to us and somehow have to find an extra 10-12 goals in the next few weeks if we plan on being competitive in the finals!

Hats off to Kenwick who ran hard all day and had much superior skills in the wet weather

Kenwick started well with 2 goals in the first minute before we settled and basically halved the 1st quarter. In the second Kenwick again scored a goal in the 1st minute and then we settled until Kenwick scored a couple late ones to lead by 4 goals at half time, from there it was all Kenwick, Brentwood didn’t even score a goal in the second half and in the fourth quarter only had about 3 inside 50’s.

Having no bench to finish off the game didn’t help, but fair to say the damage was done by then!

Good news is there is always next week, and on to Cockburn at home to try and get some form together
