Well I'm here to confirm something you all probably know, MrM clearly has lost the plot. Not only has my spelling and punctuation dwindled down to me barely being able to string two words together, but I'm afraid I'm going to go insane by talking to myself on here. I know some people out their read my comments so why not join in. Feel free to join in the robust discussions that the football has to offer. Only 7 rounds left so join in now and you can still receive an invite to MrM's End of Season trip. I'm thinking a weekend trip down to "Funbury" who is in? I'll give you time to decide whilst you preview this weeks games.

Hamersley Carine v Willetton @Carine Open Space
Last time they met
Willetton 8.8 (56) defeated by Hamersley Carine 16.12 (108)

Hamersley have slipped outside the Top 5 now but a win this weekend could see themselves back in the finals race. They need a big win here to boost their percentage to ensure they can maintain a Top 5 spot. Willetton are falling further behind the 8 ball each week especially with Bullcreek winning last week they are now 2 games from 9th and 3 from 8th. A win here would be a real confidence booster. Hamersely to be to good though.
Hamersley by 6 goals

Collegians v North Fremantle @Dalkieth Oval
Last time they met
North Fremantle 18.16 (124) defeated Collegians 10.7 (67)

Collegians by KingPigs admission may struggle over the next month, with holidays and the usual injuries. I did notice they forfeited there Second colts (Brett Jones Colts) last weekend so I'm sure numbers are tough. They face ladder leaders North Freo here and if last weeks result is anything to go by then this could be another blowout. North Freo to continually fine tune for finals over the coming weeks.
North Freo 6 goals

Maddington v Wembley @Harmony Fields
Last time they met
Wembley 13.8 (86) defeated Maddington 7.5 (47)

Maddington would be satisfied with last weekends result but they know they need to produce performances like that on a consistent basis. (At least that's what I remember reading on the Facebook page for Maddo). Also I notice Andrew Embley may be back in the maroon and gold before the season ends. Wembley kick started their campaign last time these sides faced and haven't looked back. I'm predicting that they will continue on there merry way here, even if Maddington plays a lot better at home than away.
Wembley by 2 goals

Kelmscott v Scarborough @John Dunn Memorial
Last time they met
Scarborough 11.7 (73) defeated byKelmscott 14.4 (88)

Before I start I should apologise. This game was quite close to being MOTR but fell agonisingly short. Kelmscott are looking forward to trying to finish 4th and get that all important home final spot. I'm sure at home they will be firing and ready to go, they best Scarborough by a few goals last time and that was an away game, so no excuses here. Scarborough had a good win last weekend but can they back it up again this weekend against a teak which already has beaten them this season. Given the weather and Scarborough might not be at fully strength I'll go with Kelmscott. Scarborough to demolish in the Colts and Reserves though.
Kelmscott by 2 goals

Wanneroo v Bullcreek Leeming @Wanneroo Showgrounds MOTR
Last time they met
Bullcreek Leeming 7.14 (56) defeated by Wanneroo 11.7 (73)

MrM has awarded this game between 8th v 9th Match of the Round. So much riding on this match for both sides, I have it as the standout fixture in B Grade this weekend. Plus given the rivalry and close encounters of the past and my bias towards Wanneroo is why I think this deserves the MOTR tag.
Wanneroo seemed to have gotten stuck in the mud at the Showgrounds as they have slipped and lost the past 5 matches leading them close to the relegation zone. A loss here means only percentage separates them and relegation zone. Bullcreek will be hoping to continue the from of past weekend and win here. MrM predicted bright things for the lads from Bullcreek this season but that hasn't quite come to fruition. I think Wanneroo can break the losing streak and have a Simon here. Bullcreek I suggest buying some Napisan Oxi Action to clean those white shorts after Saturday,
Wanneroo by 2 goals

Good luck to all playing this weekend. Remember support your local bar and canteen and give it the respect it deserves.

If you're heading out to Perth or Northbridge Saturday Night MrM recommends a small bar....or a wooden log, anything to keep you safe really.

Mr M,
i like the fact that you have put BCL vs Wanneroo as MOTR.
Its a shame that i cant make the trip up to the old enemy territory showgrounds to be at this one.
With a raft of players coming back over the last couple of weeks and a couple more this week, BCL will be too strong for your Roo boys even up there and hopefully should string a few wins together over the next few weeks.
Would be dangerous if we managed to finish 5th!

I'd be more worried if it was KD Lang.

Should be a cracking game against Wembley , quality outfit. With Maddo building towards full strength and Embley back for the rest of the year anything could happen.

The people have spoken. Welcome to you all.ma few question have arose from all your responses so let's take one at a time.
Dirk Diggler you're a game man questioning my match of the round selection. But I'm happy for open discussion.
Wasn't Kade Lang an assistant coach at Perth Football Club? Or involved in some capacity? Or has he been given the lemon and sars like the league coach? Good inclusion though, played 100odd WAFL games.
I'd be worried too #yolo if it was KD Lang, the greatest female Candaian export of all time until Eugenie Bouchard came along.

The seagull, I don't care much for the bird or players who are seagulls. I've got no time for any bird or animal who tries to steal my food when I'm sitting at the beach enjoying some fresh hot chips.

Mr MaddoOwnJu I did see Embley is back after his tour around Australia playing for a few different teams. Where is his mate Kerr playing?
