The Basso boys got over a determined Warnbro side by about 9 goals. It was a good game of footy with some excellant skill shown. Basso had a different fwd line, interesitng to see Yarran not playing but an old regular suited up in Ash Wedding. One thing I did notice is the young fellas that Basso have coming through. Good to see the coach is playing these guys. The guy who has worn the helmet this year also was not playing, he must be injured as he has been very good this year. This Sat will be an exciting one with cVale playing basso. Trying to get out of Daddy duties this Sat to come and wacth. Also the umpiring on Sat was the best I have seen this year. Well done to both umpiress.

Maggies u boys are going well atm. Interesting to see yarren and wedding back if that is tru after ur coach said they had moved on for personal reasons early on in year.

Good to hear u not whinging about the umpires this week. Warnbro umpire was the best umpire i saw last yr if it is still the same one. Young guy?

Only whinge when it is justified. Both umpires were good on Sat, couple mistakes but you expect that. I saw Wedding obviously play and Yarren was there being a part of the team. Don't know the inner reasons why they left but it appears to be a happy camp there at the moment. Krakouer also played a good game with different opponents on him. Any word on any other games?

Interesting game between noranda and coolbinia. Was a few new and old faces in the top side for the hawks. Agostino with his first game of the year should help them stay up in c2. If they had of kicked straighter could have been a bigger margin, some very easy misses on the weekend

Any others returning? May need a few more than Agostino to climb the ladder.

Played mossies and I only watched resides but ol dougy was superb. Barely put a foot wrong!

Dunno if adviser was there at mossie request or maggies request but couldn't complain about his performance on the weekend.

Sorry Gents, I am a busy man.

SNESA vs Canning Vale;

Reserves;
Didn't get to watch the game as this genius locked himself out of his bedroom early Saturday morning. After waiting hours for the locksmith, I decided to break the door down just in time to make the League game.
I hear after an even first term our blokes put some good footy together in the second to be 5/6 goals up which ended up being the final margin.

League;
Game of two halves. We played some terrible footy in the first half, were up at half time by 3-goals with about the same amount of scoring shots. Got an absolute bollocking at half time - didn't know our coach had it in him to use that kind of language aha... Second half saw the Cougars put on a better display of footy - the footy that we will need to play for four quarters this week against Basso if we want to be competitive. We ended up winning by just over 100 points, not sure whether they kicked a goal in the 2nd half but one of our blokes ended up kicking 11. SNESA seemed to lack a bit of quality to back up their better players.

Just wanted to say a quick thanks to my mate Ben Harris from SNESA who broke his back in Round 8 - just a week before Damo's serious injury. Ben visited Damo last week at Shenton Park and it was great to see them both smiling and the both of them look funny in their neck and back braces together. On Saturday, selflessly, Harro went around with a tin ready to donate it all to Damo. Raised a heap of money. Thanks, mate.
Loves kicking goals, passing them off is only an option.

LAG this weeks game should be a little better than the first game. You guys at full strength for this week. It has been put around that Yarran is injured plus a couple of others. The guy with the helmet for Basso did not play on the week end either. I am still working on getting out on father duties, may have to take them to the game, but it should be an exciting one.

Umm, not sure. I would think we would pretty close to full strength. We have a few injuries and a couple of blokes in Europe and of course Damo missing is huge and after Thornlie, Bassendean will be our first big test since his injury. I would think 4/5 changes from our side when we last met.

Are you saying Yarran isn't playing?

Not sure, I don't go to training only game days when I can, father duties. He did not play on Sat but looked fine walking around.
