Ladies and Gents it's that time of the week again. I know you all love to sit down and have a read of Mr Mysterious lovely write up. The season is heating up, no position on the ladder is guaranteed and things are getting closer. The only big gap is between those in the relegation zone and those not.
Let's all take a collective breath...OK now we are ready to get stuck into Round 11 action.
Bullcreek Leeming v Hamersley Carine @Beasley Park
Last time they met
Hamersley Carine 7.10 (52) defeated by Bullcreek Leeming 9.7 (61)
Well Bullcreek have all to play for now as they sit 2 games behind 8th spot on the ladder. Looking at last time they met they got over the top of Hamersley so no reason why they can't do that again. Hamersley sit outside the Top 5 but a win here and with results going there way could slip into a finals birth. They will need to make amends for last time they met. Although it's at home I can't see Bullcreek beating Hamersley here.
Hamersley by 2 goals
Willetton v North Fremantle @Burrendah Reserve
Last time they met
North Fremantle 12.20 (92) defeated Willetton 9.2 (56)
Willetton have struggled for much of 2014 which most of us predicted at the start of the season. Still time to turn the season around as they are 3 games behind 8th spot with only 8 games left. North Freo are flying and were the best team in the first half of the season, time will tell if they can maintain the form on the back end of the year. They should finish top 3 and earn a double chance.
North Freo by 6 goals
Maddington v Collegians @Harmony Fields
Last time they met
Collegians 12.9 (81) defeated Maddington 9.8 (62)
Maddington are sitting in the danger zone at the moment sitting 8th on the ladder they need wins to avoid the drop. 6 wins is minimum to try and avoid sitting in that relegation zone. A bit of history between these two sides should see this be a good encounter. Collegians are starting to hit form winning a few games in a row now and even some supporters are getting in here and talking them up. On a positive note it's good to see you are finally getting new rooms. Exciting times for all. Is James Clement still around? It doesn't matter Collegians to strong here.
Collegians by 4 goals
Wembley v Kelmscott @Henderson Park MOTR
Last time they met
Kelmscott 12.12 (84) defeated Wembley 9.7 (61)
I'll award this Match of the Round. So don't let me down Wembley and Kelmscott. Wembley are going along nicely and will be looking to cement a top 3 spot in the coming weeks. They are a strong team and I expect them to feature well in September. Kelmscott sit inside the Top 5, only one game behind Wembley. They are facing a side here though that is doing a lot better than last time they faced. Should be a tough physical match. Wembley to strong all over the ground.
Wembley by 3 goals
Scarborough v Wanneroo @Millington Reserve
Last time they met
Wanneroo 7.8 (50) defeated by Scarborough 9.8 (62)
Scarborough, just like MrM predicted, are high on the B Grade ladder. They are another side looking to sure up a top 3 spot in the coming weeks, they face a Wanneroo side looking to end the 4 game losing streak. MrM makes a joyous return to "The Mill". As MrM eluded to before Wanneroo will need to break a 4 game losing streak and I'm sure they will be ready to go come Saturday. I'm thinking a young side can get an upset win here.
Wanneroo by 1 goal
Good luck to all this weekend, hopefully the rain stays away otherwise I'm collecting 2 of every animal, leading them to an ark I've built at the Wanneroo Showgrounds.
