Just thought id do a bit of a write up on the half way mark of the season, please feel free to add to it if i may have missed somthing. this is just my own opinion of what i have seen so far.
THE LADDER
I think its easy to say that is still wide open for now and any spot is still up for grabs.

1 KINSWAY, The stand out team for me, have some good key position players. Only lost the one game to stirling, but i think you will find will be just as strong in the second half of the season.
2 STIRLING, started the season off slow with some games maybe they should of won, comming down from B grade and have always been around about A/B clubs can really set the standard in the second half and will come close to challeng kinsway.
3, KINGSLEY, after dropping a few early ones they again have started to come good at the right time. some big bodies down forward and they do like to set up play across half back.
4, OCEAN RIDGE, have always been up and about C1 club and with a strong second half season there is no doubt that they also can challenge right up there. They prob play on one of the biggest ovals in the ammo comp so there fitness is not the question.
5, QUINNS, last year's C2 premiers hav fit in just nicley into C1 and have matched it with most teams, in the second half they will want to knock off a Kingways or stirling to make a real name for them selves.
6, GOSNELLS, i think this time last year maybe were up a bit higher and some injuries and players moving on have bought them down under the top 5. thay will want to start winning games and by a lot aswell to give them that gap in the 5.
7, LYNWOOD, have hung in there and knocked off some teams above them, will just be looking to win more games in the second half and maybe sneek into the 5. but if hit with injuries not much depth in the two's.
8, HIGH WYCOMBE, big suprise for me. at the start of the season myself and many others would of thought they would of been right up there in the top 3, i did notice there side is very young and might of hit a learning season for the young ones.
9, CANNING, lost some key players at the start of the season but that no excusses for the tigers, i dont think they have even put there strongest side on the park this year with im sure like many other clubs its the season for weddings and euro trips. will work hard in the second half and look to win enough to stay out of religation.
10, MELVILLE, with the big loss of the PANDA the melville boy again have suprised me comming from last season in the top 5 to this year fighting to save them selves in C1. maybe to go back into C2 win some games a flag and get some players back and rebuild might be good for the club.
well there you go, i have said my bit.
I now look forward to a fantastic and eventful second half of the season
