Well the run home starts! every one has played everyone and the ladder has taken shape, and all things being equal, you would think the top 5 is all but settled! who knows stranger things have happend and with 9 more rounds to go, anything can happen!

on to this weeks games!!

Swan View Vs Cockburn
Last time they met Swan View got home by 7 points, but cockburn were very inaccurate in front of goal, having 8 more scoring shots than swan view. This is a huge game and will decide Swan views participation in this year’s finals campaign. These are the games they simply have to win, and as Maddog said at the start of the year, swan view won’t be happy just playing finals, they plan to play deep into finals and with their latest recruit in Dayle Garlett joining the team they will start ramping up at the right time of the year. Swan view to win by a couple as it is at brown park!

Ellenbrook Vs Manning
Last time they met Ellenbrook had it all their way and had the competition talking about how they will be hard to beat. Little did we know that manning were going to roll over most weeks and from there ellenbrook haven’t had it all their own way! This may be the game that ellenbrook got ahead of themselves and has lead to the demise of their season? Who know, but they will get back on the winners list here and will celebrate with a good win at home, although I think both teams are out of the finals race

Dianella Vs Brentwood
Last time they met, Brentwood won by about 7 goals, and had 16 more scoring shots, I think it will be a bit different this time round with Dianella on the improve. This game will also decide ladder positions and if brentwood want to have a double chance in finals this year, this is a must win game! I have this pencilled as game of the round and can’t wait to have a crack at another top 5 team at their home ground. I think we can get the job done if we come ready to play and are ready to work hard for each other. If we rock up like we have the last couple of weeks, DM will definatley let us know and it will be very hard to get back into the game! Brentwood to win by a couple. I think both teams will be playing finals this year

East freo Vs Kenwick
Last time they met Kenwick won comfortably, yet they are a much better team out at mills park. I think this will be closer than most think. Kenwick know they need to keep winning to stay on top of the ladder and will be doing everything possible to get the 4 points. East freo are basically playing for respectability now and what a better way to do it than to knock off the ladder leaders. Bit of a strategic tip here but I am taking east freo in an upset, they have the cattle to get the job done, they just need to find the belief!... actually I take that back, just realised horrible weather on the week end and east freo are too tall, their game relies a lot on sending the ball forward to their talls but this week you would think it will come to ground often, so I’ll take Kenwick to grind out the win! Kenwick will definitely be a part of the finals.

Bye Ballajura – Ballajura have impressed this year, yet will be rueing last weeks loss, now they just have one more week to think about it before tackling the second half of the year, they will definatley have a part to play in this years finals

Swan view to beat Cockburn. But it will be a very close game, hard fought like last time. Looking forward to see some new faces run out for the view
Ellenbrook should beat manning by about ten goals. Not that impressed by the eels so far but still plenty of time to improve themselves and push into the 5
Brentwood the best so far for me, while DM had a good win last week, the bulldogs to have a pretty convincing win by about 8 goals
Kenwick to get the win out at freo by about 9 goals to keep on cruising
