The season is starting to take shape and the action is heating up and with all eyes on E2 I thought it necessary to do the round 9 predictions.

Willetton vs North Beach:
Match of the round. 2nd vs 3rd. Willetton play a hard rebounding game filled with pressure while North Beach have an incredible run and carry game which will be suited to the cricket pitch in the middle of Burrendah 2. However, home ground advantage sees the Blues winning by 14.

West Coast vs Brentwood:
6th vs 7th, right in that meaty part of the ladder sees an epic tussle between two sides who lack both the foot and hand skills to cut it in the upper echelon of the competition. A record attendance of 14 is predicted to watch the Bulldogs get a rare win away from home by 60 points.

Coolbinina West Perth vs Warnbro:
8th vs 5th. Those Coolbinia Cool Cats are coming off a hurting loss to the Mighty Bulldogs so will be looking to bounce back. The question is, how many Warnbro folk will make the drive? Too close to call until I see the team sheet, but for now Warnbro by 140.

Ballajura vs Fremantle CBC:
Bottom vs Top, but I'm predicting this one to be a bit closer than ladder position suggests. Ballajura have been putting in extra long training sessions and have a new defensive springboard attack plan to unveil this week. Fremantle CBC have some big ins this week in Darren Glass and Dean Cox. Fremantle CBC by 180.

Noranda vs Wesley Curtin:
4th vs 9th. Home ground advantage here for Noraaaaanda will play a big part in their victory this week. Wesley Curtin have had a big week on the books studying up on ball movement theory, but it won't be enough as they go down by 70 points.

Thrilling week as always in E2 with some champagne football on display. Do yourself a favour and catch a glimpse of a game if you get the chance.

Out.
