We are back again as it's time for MrM's write up. MrM has had a relaxing week but it's time to get serious now. Round 8 is a serious round for all teams in WAAFL B Grade action. Teams missing some players for the state game could mean a difference or it could not (you all know MrM loves to speculate). The top 5 is a close contest so every game counts and you can't afford to slip up, not now and not ever.
Just like I do with my hot chips let's get stuck into it with both hands.
Bullcreek Leeming v Collegians @Beasley Park
Bullcreek were on the receiving end of a hefty loss last weekend that took a huge chunk of their percentage. Now sitting in the relegation zone they wouldn't want to lose too many fixtures like that again. The boys from Collegians were up and about last Saturday and let's hope they can keep that form going as they push towards the top 5. Back at "Kim Beazley" Park I think Bullcreek can get back on the winners list here.

Maddington v Hamersley Carine @Harmony Fields
It's the battle of the maroon and gold. Maddington were another to be handed a football lesson last weekend. They were very inaccurate infront of goal which made it look worse than what it was. Just like I tipped Hamersley got over Kelmscott last weekend and are looking good. I think they can keep winning this weekend.

Wembley v North Fremantle @Henderson Park MOTR
What a game this promises to be. It's no surprise that this is MrM's coveted Match of the Round. Another game with the battle of the colours. Wembley are flying since a disappointing start to the season season and have yet to drop a game since. North Freo are also travelling along nicely and Kelmscott is the only team so far to push them right to the limit. Both these clubs Reserves teams are undefeated also so it could be a tight contest in both games.
I'm going with an upset here.

Kelmscott v Wanneroo @John Dunn Memorial Park
C1 Grand Final rematch. I was close to awarding this Match of the Round but I decide against it. Both sides have won the same amount of games with Kelmscott sitting ahead of Wanneroo on the ladder. Kelmscott coming off a game last weekend which they should have won, so I'm sure back at home they will be ready to go. Wanneroo are also coming off a disappointing loss last weekend and between injuries, suspension and holiday it will give a chance for some younger players to step up. Wanneroo to grab a Simon/Murray here.

Scarborough v Willetton @Millington Reserve
Scarborough had a very convincing win last weekend and are starting to show the form that led them to a Preliminary Final last season. Willetton have yet to win a game but I doubt that will change this weekend. Not that they won't be out to win but I think they might fall short. Scarborough shoud win easy here.

Good luck to all this weekend. Play in good spirits and remember at the end of the day football is always the winner.
