THE West Coast Eagles State Amateur U23s will face their first test of the year on Friday night when they host the WA Country Football League at Anning Park, South Lake.

Friday’s game will be the first of two West Coast Eagles State Amateur under 23’s games, with the second game being the Australian Amateur Football Championship match against the South Australian Amateur Football League under 23-team on June 7th at Kingsway Sporting Complex, Madeley.

Coach of the West Coast Eagles State Amateur under 23’s side Wayne Langborne said he was looking forward to watching how his team play in what is expected to be a highly competitive hit-out against the WACFL team.

“The one thing I know for sure is that they will be very hard at it…they will be physically stronger than us and they love nothing better than beating the Amateurs".
