You forgot to mention Houdini that kingsway were down to 0 rotations before halftime and then had 15 fit blokes by the end with virtually no recognized midfielder available so a great effort to stay in the game for so long. Full credit to stirling on the win but I think at full strength the Roos will have your measure. Look forward to the rematch later in the year

Stirling also had a few injury problems , but we will take the win and the 4 pts

And imagine what a full strength stirling would do!

Some surprising results. Makes for a big match this weekend between Kingsway and Kingsley. Both sides will be missing key players through injury and state duty so will be interesting to see the depth.
Melville coming through with the goods shows they are not dead yet either.

canning Vs quinns

game was played in two halfs.
canning for the first half
then quinns for the second.
Canning kicked the first 8 behinds in the first qtr to Quinns 2 behinds, they really set the standard, tone and pace of the game as they had quinns on the back foot with also applying pressure around the ball and catching quinns holding the ball at least 10 times. second qtr was much the same canning finaly getting one between the big sticks and quinns getting one late.
after that it was all one way traffic for quinns, they hit the ball harder started to run for each other and had more intensity. It did not help canning giving away silly free kicks, 50m pen's and a yellow card. I have to say the bloke from quinns who got the 50m pen right to the goal line and missed 5m out in front was a good laugh, im sure he will be practising that again this week at training.
Tigers probably kicking them selvs out of the game and quinns got the job done.

KTB, sorry mate have been busy at work all week. What happened to us? The correct answer is we got pumped by a Gosnells side that was committed and willing to have a contest, and we just rocked up with no spark, or no one willing to crack in and win the ball consistently.

Full respect to the Gosnells boys, they got some good players back from injury and they played really well, and if they bring that intensity and work ethic over the next 10 games they will win more than they loose

Looking forward to this week, hopefully we can turn up in a better frame of mind and have a crack
