Round seven is under way and see's some hard games this week that could go either way.

GOSNELLS Vs LYNWOOD
Gossy had a below average game last week and lynwood had a hard one but came out on top over quinns. Gossy will be looking to peg back a couple of wins to stay in touch with the 5 and just as much the same for lynwood. going on form i think lynwood might just get home.
LYNWOOD BY 5points

OCEAN RIDGE Vs KINGSLEY GOTR
My pick for game of the round this week, an inform kinsley and the ridge boys have been going about the footy nicely till they met a hard kingsway side last week.
flip of the coin i think as could go either way.
OCEAN RIDGE BY 3 points

STIRLING Vs KINGSWAY
was close for my pick of the week but you would think that kingsway would have got this in the bag after seeing all results of kingsways past.(and apparently that not even 4qtrs yet). Kingsway now become the hunted and the question is can an inform stirling rattle the cage??
KINGSWAY by 6 goals

QUINNS Vs CANNING
the old GF rematch, know doubt the canning boys will be hungry for this one and will want to just play out a solid 4qtrs, some handy players back this week should help. but we all know that quinns do play there ground well and will want to show they still have the upper hand on the tigers.
CANNING BY 1 point

HIGH WYCOMBE Vs MELVILLE
After the rams big loss last week should fire them up for a big game against the dogs. if the dogs manage to keep a few of the swans boys then i think they will be ok, stop the run of taylor and the big boy from kicking a bag and maybe get over the line.
HIGH WYCOMBE by 3 goals

GOOD TO ALL TEAMS THIS WEEKEND,

Kingsway Vs Stirling will be a huge game as a lot of boys from ether side know each other and Kingsway Hunter leaving Stirling to take the kingsway job. Also a fair few ex Stirling players left to go there as they weren't up for the hard times at Stirling!!
Should be great to watch

Also apprentley Stirling colts have apprentley forfieted

Lynwood easily if Gossies put up the same as last week
Kingsley to keep rolling
Kingsway
Quinns
High Wycombe

Sledge - agree that it should be a great game and will give both sides a guide as to where they are at and this is definately the game of the round. Not sure about players leaving Stirling as they were not up to the hard slog i think it may more have been about opportunity and as for Kingsley Hunter i think after 6 - 7 years at Stirling he may have been looking for a new opportunity elsewhere and im sure that he still has many mates at the club. Looking forward to the game very much

As for the Colts it appears that Stirling have struggled most weeks to put this team on the park and the thought of facing the undefeated Kingsway boys may have swayed a few to stay away especially after fielding full teams the previous 2 weeks. The last thing any comp needs is forfeits and lets hope they can rally and get a few players back to the club.

Good write-ups KTB, as always right on top of everything in our grade.

Looks like we will get some better weather this weekend than last. My tips for this week for what they are worth

Lynwood should beat Gosnells by a couple of goals, Gosnells appear to have a few injuries at the moment, but expect them to bounce back somewhere in coming weeks, they are a proud club.

Kingsley will be to good for Ocean Ridge though I expect this margin to be close

Kingsway will get over Sterling just - this game should be closer than the one above

Quinns will be to fast for Canning - though I note that KTB has advised of some big ins for Canning???????

High Wycombe will have to much class for Melville and will win the footy and the fights.

Good luck to everyone Saturday. While im sure you may all prefer the bye this weekend, its footy season so lets get on and play

Lynwood should win with some of their bigger bodies against gosnells by a 28 point margin

Kingsley still have some big outs and ridge are coming off a touch up by kingsway last weekend. Both sides seem fairly evenly matched. I think Kingsley by under 2 goals

I tihnk Kingsway will take Stirling to the cleaners. Big rivalry with a lot of ex stirling boys jumping ship to kingsway. I think after a tight first quarter Kingsway will absorb the emotion and cruise to an 8 goal win.

Quinns seem to be a well drilled team although canning have some solid bodies. Quinns are a better team at home and should win under 4 goals.

High Wycombe at home should account for Melville. Melville are a shell of the team they were one or two seasons ago.

GOod luck everyone
Some big games between the top 4 in the next 2-3 weeks. Will most likely shape the finals

there is all this talk about kingsley hunter being the ex coach of stirling , i wonder if he remembers the club song as he might accidently join in the huddle with the stirling boys after the game and belt out the club song (when the saints come marching in ) after stirling gets over the line in a tight one
