C3 has been very quiet of late, what has happened, some clubs putting the muzzles on very early in the season??

I’ll do a bit of a write up and see if we can’t get some banter leading up to this weeks games!!

Ballajura vs Cockburn lakes

Cockburn coming off the bye so should be fresh, and Balla coming off a tough game against Kenwick which they lost. I think Balla will be too strong here, will need to get back in the winners circle and will out muscle and out run Cockburn

Dianella Vs Ellenbrook

Dianella took care of easts last week, but I may have thought they were expecting a bit of a bigger margin and Ellenbrook went down to Swan view. Ellenbrook are at risking of drifting a bit behind the pack if they lose this one, and I think Dianella will be looking to consolidate last weeks win.

Manning Vs Swanview

Manning coming off another pounding and Swan view will be very happy with last weeks win. I think Manning should really concentrate on playing 4 qtrs this week and they may give Swan view a scare, maybe even look at promoting 11 from the ressies who was very good last week. Swan view will be looking to bank the 4 points here and get their season on track.

Brentwood Vs Kenwick

Another top of the table clash for Kenwick after disposing of Balla last week, they will be full of confidence and look to make a statement to the league this week. Brentwood coming off a training drill last week and relishing in the chance to take on the early premiership favourites and found out exactly where they sit in this competition. Hopefully get a couple back in this week, and really give Kenwick a run for their money!

I think east freo should win the bye

I agree about the lack of talk. are clubs really worried about what's being said on here? it barely warrants a conversation at our training though most of them are vaguely aware that I jump on here.

No 4's on the weekend with everyone who put their tips in taking Ellenbrook to beat the View

Ballajura V Cockburn
haven't seen Cockburn yet this year but the results are up and down, playing well at home then dropping off away. Ballajura are a good side that work for each other and should win this at home by a comfortable margin

Dianella V Ellenbrook
this Would be a very interesting game to watch, maybe Ellenbrook have dropped off from the powerhouse they have been in previous years. or maybe they are just taking a while to get into the season this year. Dianella have a lot of very good players and will be hard to beat for anyone when they gel as a squad. I think DM will take the win in this game but it will be tough

Manning V Swan View
Manning are having a rough trot but as long as they can keep numbers and morale up they can turn it around. swan view are sitting equal second on points but have yet to have their Bye which will come round 9 (not a bad spot for a bye). the view should win by a lot.
on a side note: do they still make the big burgers down at manning? those were great

Brentwood V Kenwick
Brentwood have had a good start to the year only losing to Ballajura and in that game kicking 19 behinds to sit 2nd and having the best percentage in the comp. We aren't having a bad start to the season either having won all our games sitting on top of the table we are playing some good footy and are looking to continue that. Kenwick in a tussle

East Freo will be looking forward to a week off after a rough start though the two games after the bye are Ballajura then Brentwood. it is highly possible that round 9 could see two winless teams squaring off

Just a bit of banter before the weekends game mate! Having been in a similar position before, knowing we did a double drop a couple years ago, we were not too bothered what people were saying on a forum, and we definitely didn’t think we were being kicked while we were down, you can’t hide the facts, just need to re build, align your relationships and come back stronger! lucky for east’s they will probably be able to remain in C3 by just being competitive as the one club already gone and Manning are not putting up a fight, Round 9 should be a cracker for both sides and I bet they can’t wait for it to come!

In saying that the other 7 teams in the comp are in this up to their eyeballs and I have said before a couple good teams will miss the 5 and every game matters!! so they shouldn’t take the bye lightly
