Some very interesting results in B Grade this weekend. I didn't expect North Freo or Wembley to win by the amount they did. North Freo looks like the team to beat at this stage and next week is a big week for all teams.

Mr Mysterious was up bright and early on Saturday, ready for a big day down at Wanneroo.

Our colts sides were depleted due to some rave party going on down South. Luckily Trinity Aquinas forfeited the Brett Jones colts match so we could pinch some players otherwise we might have not have had enough for the Drew Banfield colts match. Over 30+ players from Wanneroo AFC alone were down South this weekend.
MrM would never miss a game of football to attend a music concert. Let alone one where half the bands probably don't even play their own instruments.

Our Colts had another loss but are improving each week. MrM's suggested game plan was used in some patches. After the game I suggested do it more often and they said it wasn't that easy. Only sour note was a Willetton player allegedly punching a Wanneroo player in the face as they walked off the ground. That sort of stuff doesn't belong in football.

Wanneroo had a "Simon" or a "Murray" in the reserves. Some poor kicking did cost them a few goals and let Willetton kick a few goals but overall a great effort.

Our league side got underway and obviously hadn't watched Buddy Franklin spray his shots at goal the night before and were wasteful in front of goal early kicking 8 behinds in the first quarter. But were still leading Willetton. By half time Wanneroo had the upper hand in the match but couldn't convert on the scoreboard kicking 3.11 at the main break. It was the same again after half time Wanneroo not managing to kick straight and a few bad kicks general play meant they weren't able to take full ascendency of the match. At 3 quarter time we had kicked 7.15 and finished the match with 11.19. Goal kicking training may need a bit of work other than that a good day for Wanneroo. Looking forward to heading down to North Freo for a good match next weekend.

Anyone have any idea why some results were lopsided?
I thought they might have been closer.

Good write up, Wanneroo very inaccurate on the weekend should have been a blowout.
Would like to hear someone from the wembley vs collegians match on here. Tipped wembley to get up but did not expect an absolute dicking!

Collegians are renowned for copping the odd 'dicking' as you so eloquently put it over the years Roo. GTM most likely responsible

Collegians were never in the game, poor skills and unforced errors cost dearly, plus a lack of spread when they obtained possession meant very few options. Full marks to Wembley for causing turnovers due to their defensive pressure.
