good hit out vs swan view yesterday, game was close all day until we took control in the 4th qtr.

Swan views umpire is something to be desired, very average at best, but then again it is C3!

I would disagree Mad Dog, but everyone thinks everyone else's umpire is biased. The Swan View League coach certainly had an issue with the umpiring which he made well known from the bench. Was interesting to hear the Swan View players react badly to their coaches behaviour telling him to shut up and talking amongst themselves about his regular bad behaviour and general attitude.

Was a good close game otherwise, a bit of a scuffle in the last 1/4 but happy to get back to suburbia with a win.

Dianella look to be a real contender now with some handy recruits adding to their depth, could be difficult to counter over a long season. Kenwick the other favourites in my eyes.

A good day out at Coolamon for ellenbrook with 2 significant wins , very different and younger looking east freo than years past, only a few i recognised after playing against them for the last 6-7 years ! Maybe a look towards the future for them ? After playing them and manning I feel they are a fair way ahead of manning at this stage as the 1 relegation spot seems to be between them at the moment ! Interesting
Shape to the ladder , and I've said it once and ill say it again , a very even comp at the moment ! Have an off day and you'll get exposed by most sides this year !

Interesting league game down at Kingfisher this weekend with the new 1:10pm time slot. 15 minutes a Manning player suffered a nasty hit to the spine in some friendly fire if I believe correctly. Trainers didn't want to risk moving the poor bloke so the game was put on hold for 45mins to an hour waiting for an ambulance to arrive. Resumed the game as the start of the 2nd quarter and played 3 x 20minute quarters from there. Manning can't seem to get any luck at the minute but I do wish that bloke all the best and hopefully it wasn't a significant injury.

Headdownrunning I'm assuming the new time slot is due to your thirds side playing after? Will this be for every home game ?

Agreed Scooby, I've seen and heard this about Swan View's umpire and coach a few times now...
