TOPIC:

The WAAFL state program's have been in training for a couple of weeks now with strong numbers for both program's so far. The 23s have been training at Robinson Reserve in Osborne Park on Wednesdays at 6.30pm and the 19s have been training at Wyong Reserve in Bentley at 6.00pm.

This year the 23s are coached by Wayne Langborne who returns to the program with matches against the WACFL and the marquee state fixture with WA hosting SA in June. After losing to Tasmania and the WACFL last year, hopes are high of a strong rebound state campaign for the 23s.

The 19s are coached by Cameron Palmer for a second year and will play matches against the WA State 16s and WACFL in matches in June. Last year the 19s were undefeated and will be looking to continue that same momentum in 2014 with consecutive successful campaigns.

Club support is the lifeblood of state rep footy and here is hoping that both program's do the state proud in 2014.

Personal Congratulations to Alec Cook & Josh Newman who both played in our LK Colts Premiership Side last season.

Both lads played a few games of League last year and have been regulars this year, great for the development of the club!

I am playing for the WA Country side on the 30th, can you guys tell me what sort of facilities does Anning Park have?
Are the lights good quality?

Will, Anning park has great lights, new clubrooms and cold beer. Only downside is a covered cricket pitch at CHF otherwise playing surface is top notch.

Looks like the 19's got the better end of the stick. I would assume that the game at subi is a curtain raiser.
Not sure on Kingsway oval as I have not been there. But anning park???
