Hopefully someone can fill is in on the games with no scores.

For us we had 3 massive performances but unfortunately only the 1 win. All 3 games were quite similar.

The colts boys did it tough playing with 19 for 3 quarters and after a slow start the effort to get back in the game took it's toll late. 2 of our blokes taken off on the stretcher so hopefully it's not too bad. Thanks to the Jets for putting up some shelter with a qtr to go. Hopefully it's pissing down when you's come to take us on because you'll be getting soaked.

Our Ressies boys were also gallant after having injuries throughout the game and a lot of new faces still yet to gel. Cockburn got up with a kick after the siren.

The League game was one of the best a few of our longer serving players,coaches and volunteers have been involved in.We were down by 5-6 goals midway through the second qtr and got a late one to still have some hope although we were only going to be with 20 players after the main break. We won the 3rd qtr which was our aim and got within a couple of goals. The last qtr was a titanic struggle where neither team scored a goal for the 1st 10 minutes. Our blokes were dead and buried but somehow found a way to win and we hit the front with less than 2 minutes to go. A goal after the siren was the icing on the cake.

What I learnt from the day.
-club umpires continue to be biased and I'd be ashamed if our club umpires favoured us. I'd like to see them come into the rooms together before a game and explain the way they are going to interperate certain rules and work together as a team.
-34 degrees is bloody hard work for ammos boys to be having a kick in,especially if you have to work in the morning.
-Geez I've missed having a shower and a beer with the boys after hard slog.

Eels ressies by about 21 goals give or take....

Brentwood by about 5 goals in the league, wasn't a pretty game but we got the job done!

Great to see Brentwood have a win over Dianella
Hope it was a fair game as they have had un pleasant side to them over the last few years

Interesting comp c3 this year with ellenbrook out for success after bowing out the last few years
Will the passion burn so much to bring the flag to them finally.
A few old teams back in and one would think balla would be big improvers with there successful colts sides feeding into senior ranks
So or will it be balla the team to beat time will only tell I suppose.

Nollamarra forfeited there ressies against balla
And they only had six league players in the league game
I think they might end up in one team comp soon if all
There players don't come out of the wood works !!!

Kenwick got up in both games. goal on the siren to win in the reserves and by about 8-9 goals in the league.

Mad dog I could understand if it was raining but just because you don't have any hair on your head mabey use sunscreen. I hope it buckets down when we play up there to, swamp landers like the rain. Game was played in good spirits ( the jets colts boys clapping your injured players all the way off when they went down)( my runners/ waterboys also assisting) and a good tight tussle right to the end. Saying to me after the game that you where missing players is just being a sore loser because every team misses players from week to week. My colts captain was sitting right next to me on the bench not playing. Lastly the way you talk and treat your players (especially u20's) is disgusting. Iv wanted to say this ever since last year when I heard you call one of your league players a lazy c*** from the bench. Be handy if when we play up at swan view our bench could be on the other side of the ground to yours so that my ears don't bleed!
