Any thoughts on C1 this year out there?

Quinns and Canning up from C2.
High Wycombe and Stirling down from B.

May be an interesting April with Easter and Anzac day in the mix depleting numbers.

Always a raffle until a few weeks in once a few games have been played. From the teams coming in i would imagine that Quinns & Canning will need to have recruited well to match it with some of the teams from last season. High Wycombe and Stirling seem to have cleared a lot of other players to other clubs in the off season so will be interesting to see how they travel.

From the teams from last season, i imagine that Kingsway, Melville & Ocean Ridge will be about the place with Kingsley, Lynwood Ferndale & Gosnells needing to improve a bit from last year to be competative. I watched Kingsway last weekend absolutely belt Wanneroo (Although Wanneroo were missing a few apparently ) and they have a hell of a lot of new faces this season with a lot of younger guys running around so i expect them to be around the place come seasons end.

Dissapointing that Lynwood ferndale arent fielding a colts team this season and i suppose all that the WAAFL can hope for is that more teams don't pull out after a few games due to the lack of numbers which is what happened last season.

All in all should be a good competition. As for Easter i think you will find that there is a general bye for the WAAFL that weekend across all grades.

Wycombe and Stirling just getting rid of the rubbish that holds the side down both sides will be better this year
