They haven't started preseason training yet so you'd think this is speculation and they would at least be waiting until a few weeks into it before an accurate assessment on numbers was even possible !?!?!?

Very interesting to see this topic!! How many clubs will be affected by this? You would think Mosman Park, West Coast Cowan and north Freo??
I dont agree with the ammos continually accepting new teams into the comp. it only decreases the quality of the football across all grades?? And puts more pressure on clubs that have been in the comp for years. This seems to be the case with another topic on this forum with Beechboro footy club folding, only two Years after Noranda afc have been introduced and 4or 5 years after Ellenbrook Eels fc have been accepted.

But they receive more affiliation fees i guess. Maybe they should focus on providing umpires for all
Grades before they add more teams

But good luck to the roosters, good clubs begin with quality management.

Hopefully with their admission it will mean that clubs like wembley and trinity will go back to D Grades, rather embarrassing having C4 reserves grand finals dominated but bigger clubs,

If I am not mistaken bullcreek won 2012 c4 reserves premiership as well.

I am now in a neutral position to comment on these matters. Good luck to the Roosters for their inaugural year, the year of the horse. Have had a quick look at the players interested in playing for this team. Quite a few guys in there who don't like to lift a finger around a clubhouse and like a bit of easy footy. Firstly, I can't see 85% of these blokes with broom/mop in hand looking after their club and secondly, the south westerly on that oval is rather rampant meaning the plethora of outside players will have a tough time of it executing their supreme skills thus disappointing uncle Colin on the sidelines. If your salad fringe naturally falls to the left, a full forward would look forward to lining up facing south. Doesn't matter if the kick misses its target into breeze, salad will stay in place. Increasing clubs and giving young men like this fake golden triangle money to play with reduces the quality of footy, instills poor footy etiquette/clubmanship, puts pressure on other clubs with less dosh, encourages a slack attitude and won't result in anyone being able to have a beer in what is a feeble excuse for a bar. Fingers crossed for the roost.

Correct you are Shirtfront. Would be good to see sides that are at C4 level have a chance at premiership glory, not the more prolific clubs with 4 teams each.

I think it'll mean wembley should drop back to d grade.
With only cottesloe entering c4 you'd imagine that either Trinity will have to stay put or maybe a side like Whitfords will join the grade.

Their reserves sides might of been good but everyone knows some of the big clubs stack their lowest grade sometimes but their league sides weren't competitive. From memory Bullcreck Leemings C4 league got few 20/30 goal thrashing and finished last while Wembley finished last and TAs 7th last year. The gradings are done by the league sides and not how good the reserves are.
