Wanted C2 League Player/Coach
The Canning Vale Senior Football Club invites applications for the following 2014 coaching positions:
C2 League Player/Coach; Assistant Coaches; and Junior Development Coach.
The club is going from strength to strength with 3 consecutive grand final wins for the club in its first 3 years of operation. For the League side we are seeking a player/coach to take the club up the grades over the next 3 years.
A very attractive remuneration package will be provided to the successful League coaching candidate in line with A and B grade packages. We have a very talented group of young players and looking to develop them further along with our up and coming Colts team that won last season’s Grand Final. Canning Vale has a vast talent pool coming through the junior club which has over 650 players.
The successful candidate will have played at a minimum A Grade Amateurs, Country Football or higher level and is still keen to play. Supporting the role will be 2 – 3 assistant coaches that will work with the player/coach on games days and on the training track.
Key responsibilities for these roles include:
- Develop players from well planned training programs around structured game plans
- To develop and implement well defined coaching and playing strategy.
- Demonstrate coaching expertise and leadership to develop the playing group.
