Well the results went as the overall season form suggested with Uni getting up fairly easily in difficult conditions. That sets up a rematch next week between the two power sides of 2013 Wesley Curtin and University. For what it is worth at this early stage I'm going for Uni. I don't think Wesley will be able to manage that feat twice in the finals series. If they don't then University will have won three straight A Grade Premierships and the Golden Era of the club entrenched in history.
In the reserves CBC kicked themselves out of the game and went down by one kick in the end. That sets Beach up with a 2nd Semi Final rematch against TA's next week. TA's will be looking for their 2nd straight Premiership win but may struggle to beat Beach again, with some of the NB A Grade qualified players coming back into their side. NB have clearly been the form side of the competition and have been licking their wounds all year about their straight sets exit in 2012.
In the Colts Uni put to an end the hopes of Mt Lawley with an easy 6 goal win. The rematch with TA's will be a ripper with TA's going for their 4th straight Premiership.
