Maggies, ru a coach? Btw - I'm 4ft tall and 4ft wide, no time for AFL commitments, looking for a club with hot chicks to settle into :woohoo:

Yes, D grade is a hidden gem.

3rd grade sides from mostly A grade clubs and a couple B grade 3rds. Still a great quality of football with some handy footballers running around.

Does not make sense putting them in with the c4s and c3s of this world, it would just upset the apple cart with 3rd grade sides handing out thumpings to clubs 1st teams.

Unfortunately its gonna take another 2-3 years for the system to start sorting itself out imo and let clubs shuffle up and down. There's certainly some developing C grade clubs which will push into the higher grades(im not saying A grade)and not be out of place in the years to come.

What do you and others think about promotion relegation between C4 and D1?
Not sure if it was the A grade clubs that were against it, but I think it could work. Ive only swapped Wembley and Whitford in example below maybe as a trial for 2014.

C4 (F Grade)- from - place
1 Belmont Districts C3 9
2 Armadale* C3 10
3 Secret Harbour C4 3
4 Southern River C4 4
5 Jandakot C4 5
6 Trinity Aquinas (A3/4s) C4 6
7 Osborne Park C4 7
8 Roleystone C4 8
9 Cockburn Cobra's C4 9
10 Whitford (A3/4s) D1 1

Guess we are getting close to the start of the season. Would expect another "revamp" of C4's structure this season as at least Kwinana and perhaps Warrick Greenwood are coming over from the MFL (old Mercantile).

Also - what are the chances that Coolbellup, Beechboro, Bayswater may return to two sides?

Would be better not to have the D? sides in C4 - and that's no disrespect to the D? sides; but as we have seen the last couple of years they seem to do "very" well towards the end of the season with their depth and use of the "easy" finals qualification requirements.

DB.

Have heard from a very reliable source that both teams will be staying in the MFL as neither club has applied for a clearance according to the WAFC constitution.

Wow! That's a slip by the Kwinny committee then. I know some of their players were disappointed this year that they stayed in the MFL. Oh well - they should win another flag at least.
