I know that the teams in E grade will change around significantly for next year but I have just done an example going off this years teams and results. Ive changed my opinion that 3rd 4/5th side teams should be graded to reflect their top side. Nowadays 3rd 4/5th side teams vary as some take it seriously more than others where some are just in it socially. Thus the reason I have placed single team clubs in E1/2. This years gradings were way off the mark and going with below example they can continue down the track with the promotion/relegation system.

E1 (H Grade) - from - place
1 Rossmoyne 1s E1 1
2 Swan Districts 1s E1 2
3 Wanneroo (B3s) E1 3
4 Ocean Ridge (C3s) E1 4
5 Coolbellup 1s E2 1
6 Hamersley Carine (B3s) E2 2
7 Kingsley (C3s) E2 3
8 Fremantle C.B.C (A5s) E2 4
9 Collegians (B3s) E3 2
10 Bayswater 1s E3 3

E2 (I Grade) - from - place
1 Quinns District (C3s) E1 5
2 Coolbinia West Perth (D3s) E1 6
3 North Beach (A5s) E2 5
4 Willetton (B3s) E2 6
5 Hamersley Carine (B4s) E3 1
6 Beechboro 1s E3 4
7 Swan Athletic (A3s) E3 5
8 Melville (C3s) E4 1
9 Safety Bay 1s E4 2
10 Forrestdale 1s E4 3

E3 (J Grade) - from - place
1 Noranda (D3s) E1 7
2 Whitford (A5s) E1 8
3 West Coast Cowan (A3s) E1 9
4 Brentwood Booragoon (E3s) E1 10
5 Stirling (B3s) E2 7
6 Wesley Curtin (A5s) E2 8
7 North Fremantle (B5s) E2 9
8 Ellenbrook (E3s) E3 6
9 Kingsway (C3s) E3 7
10 Gosnells (C3s) E4 4

E4 (K Grade) - from - place
1 Bassendean (D3s) E2 10
2 Kingsley (C4s) E3 8
3 High Wycombe (B3s) E3 9
4 Swan Valley (D3s) E3 10
5 Warnbro Swans (D3s) E4 5
6 Cockburn Lakes (E3s) E4 6
7 Wanneroo (B4s) E4 7
8 Dianella Morley (E3s) E4 8
9 Canning Vic Park SP (C3s) E4 9
10 Kelmscott (B3s) E4 10

Trinity did finish first in D1 in 2012 and North Freo runners up with North Beach third. I too couldn't figure out why they put Wembley up as they finished as Premiers in D2.

What do you and others think about promotion relegation between C4 and D1?
Not sure if it was the A grade clubs that were against it, but I think it could work. Ive only swapped Wembley and Whitford in example below maybe as a trial for 2014.

C4 (F Grade)- from - place
1 Belmont Districts C3 9
2 Armadale* C3 10
3 Secret Harbour C4 3
4 Southern River C4 4
5 Jandakot C4 5
6 Trinity Aquinas (A3/4s) C4 6
7 Osborne Park C4 7
8 Roleystone C4 8
9 Cockburn Cobra's C4 9
10 Whitford (A3/4s) D1 1

D1 (G Grade)- from - place
1 Wembley (B3/4s) C4 10
2 North Fremantle (B3/4s) D1 2
3 University (A3/4s) D1 3
4 Scarborough (B3/4s) D1 4
5 North Beach (A3/4s) D1 5
6 Wesley Curtin (A3/4s) D1 6
7 Fremantle C.B.C (A3/4s) D1 7
8 Kalamunda (B3/4s) D1 8
9 Bullcreek Leeming (B3/4s) D1 9
10 Mt Lawley (A3/4s) D1 10

That seems the only logical step now I would think to keep promoting and demoting sides, particularly in the lower divisons like C4 and D1.

From memory TA's won the D1 premiership last year and just missed out on a finals berth for the C4 this year. I just can't remember whether Wembley was in the D1 finals last year. I thought TA's played North Beach but maybe I'm wrong, so I can't figure out why the other Grand Final side didn't go up.

Trinity did finish first in D1 in 2012 and North Freo runners up with North Beach third. I too couldn't figure out why they put Wembley up as they finished as Premiers in D2.

Whitey for the record - Swan Athletic finished 4th by knocking of TA in the final (no affect on relegation but fine tuning your lists.

Great to see another club from the Swans region in A with Kalamunda being far too good for B Grade. WCC is always a good place to go and watch the footy as well. Maddington, not so much.

Maggies, I've been involved at both Noranda recently (past 3 years) and previously at Basso for more than a decade. Can tell you categorically with hand on heart that at neither club have I ever been aware of money being paid to players period. Neither club has ever been in a good enough financial position to pay players. The 3rds team at Noranda exists because of the players that crossed from Basso and is a big reason that Noranda has any bar take at all. And if you ever wondered why a lot of 3rd grade players walked across with Dog I can tell you first hand that if ex league players are treated like 2nd class citizens the way some of us were after 10years+ service in top side by having to train at the side of the ground off the oval with basically no light in the twilights of our footy life because of senior coaches demands for total oval control then you soon start wondering why the hell you are there. Not sure if your comment is based on bad blood but can tell you much better facilities is the big reason some of us crossed over, the 'drug' culture that had started to arise at Basso being the other big reason. If you don't know what I'm talking about here then clearly you have turned a blind eye. I loved that club and was sad to see the way it was heading. By all reports things are a bit better now, I really hope this is the case!! For the record I've never been involved at a footy club with a culture as friendly to all grades of players and their families as that at Noranda.

D/W for the record this maggies person , nobody knows who it is and the comments he makes are not on bafc's behalf. (Everyone is entitled an opinion that's wat these forums are for) so whether he has bad blood with Noranda or anyone who left basso that's up to him. We at the club know the main reason why dog left and don't need you coming on here saying this and that especially as a past player and life member( cos im sure u would be after playing 10 yrs of seniors ) a few might have left for the reasons you state but hey we both know majority of them left simply because he did and that's expected. We've moved on
Personally I get sick of people saying this or that guy gets paid just because they are at a lower grade club I'd expect most of them just get sick of the time and commitment at higher levels and majority tend to head back to their junior clubs anyway especially toward the end of their careers

Bazz, I only comment because I love the Basso club. So if people want to have a crack at me for posting on a public forum, then so be it. They dont have to reply, or read my posts for that matter. It is a pity that others are not as passionate about their club. I have only said that Noranda get paid because that is what just about everyone is saying, it is not rocket science. If thats how they want to try and win a GF then good luck to them, didnt work this year. The mention of drugs etc is out of line too, people making statements like that should be careful. Not sure about 15 years ago, but definetly not in the past 5 years. The group Basso had this year looks like they were only there to play footy. So to hear such rubbish is dissapointng and degrading. When at the games I watch from the side lines and then go home, have been into the huddles a few times but I leave after the games straight away to watch AFL , so I would not know what happens after game time. Sorry for being passionet about my club of choice.

Wasn't having a crack maggies just making it clear that the comment wasn't from bafc committee etc, as for d/w drug comments I could write a whole lot about certain people that went across with dog cos i know a lot of those guys very well but i won't go to his level and that's not wat the forum is about

MP, head to the kennel (Brentwood) mate, reigning premiers in C4, rebuilding club, come and be a part of it. or just go to a higher grade club where the work has been done and just make up the numbers.
