After losing to Carlisle first up, the Hawks started strong against Nolla and had the game won before half time. Nolla’s comeback would have been of some concern but I think by then they were already focusing on this week and the chance for redemption. Ellenbrook were outplayed by C2 bound Carlisle and now have to work twice as hard to earn a GF spot. The predicted fine weather means this should be a cracking game.

Cockburn have knocked off 2 sides about them in close games so far in the finals series and would be gunning for 3 in a row this week. With their league out they have a few guys who played enough games to qualify and will come in boasting a more powerful side than when they last ventured to Coolamon in round 18. Ellenbrook got shown a footballing lesson by the undefeated Hawks and now have to turn the form around. Training last night was good and hopefully continues into the game.

Let me give you some background on One-Day Goose, he used to play for us and thought he was a lot better than what he was, he was only playing ressies (if we'd had a 3rds team then he would've been playing that) so he went to Canning Vale who also played him in the ressies, he ended up at Beechboro and doesn't even get a game there in what is equivalent to our thirds team. Long story short, he doesn't like us.

He also showed his true colours earlier this season when he made a disgusting comment on here about someone who had just passed away. Does that give you an indication of the type of person he is?
