With A Grade Finals starting tomorrow I thought we better have some comment.

Great to see my prediction of Swan Athletic finishing 5th come in, it was rather scoffed at by most others. Tomorrow should be an exciting day of footy.

Wesley Curtin V North Beach
No doubt this will be a belter. You wouldnt be betting on either, North Beach with A grade finals experience up to their ears. I will go with Wesley Curtin on their form over the whole season and home ground advantage.

TA Vs Swan Athletic
TA's just getting over Collegians last week may have seen them resting some key players. Swan Athletic have won 3/4 since the spiteful clash at the same venue. Always a close one with these two with results going TA's way. I will be backing my boys to win this time (less than a kick) and make more of a mark than expected by the others who wrote them off from making the five.

Good tip Mac, but it was more than a goal. Ath won by 4 goals and it was their first ever A-Grade finals win apparently!

any results from the North Beach v Wesley clash?

great to see my boys from Athletic get up for their big win over rivals TA's. Had the first two on the board from the big monster up forward and were never headed from there I believe. McPherson after being questioned by Mac Attack over his worth in the side earlier in the year certainly showed his value by shutting down Franich. not sure how many he kicked but points definitely went to little Mac. Birrell had little impact, Foley smashed all day long by Aitcheson on top of Maccas effort were key factors in the victory.

Mac Attack, do you know how Aaron Russell is? went off early in the first after being knocked out in a tackle and didn't return. very capable player up forward and will be missed if he can't get up for next week.

will be a tough match for the 'grape pickers' no matter who the opponent but well done on the win boys!!!!

Wesley Curtin far too strong for North Beach and now face a rematch with Uni after being soundly beaten by them in the last home and away game of the season.

Only 2 goals in the game between Swan Ath & TA's at three quarter time. Ath came out all guns blazing at the start of the last qtr and kicked away. Disapointing end to the season for TA's who had won 6 straight going into their finals series.

Would expect Ath to be more than competitive against Beach in the 1st Semi next week but I doubt any sides apart from Uni & Wesley will be playing off in the Grand Final.

Still very happy after watching the Ath boys do it on the weekend.

Big Bird, not sure about Russell I was a few beverages deep at the end so my post match reporting was impaired. Mcpherson was very good and from all reports and what I have seen has been most games. Not sure if it was me questioning his spot at all? I tend to offer comments on the team rather than individuals but if I did I eat my words.

From a spectators view point, well done to both teams and supporters as game was played in good spirits and crowd was great. Even with the firey clash last time.

Big week again with NB, just hope the game is somewhere with a bar.
