first week lines up to see some fantastic games of football.

LEAGUE:
BYE: Quinns.
CANNING SP v MOSMAN PARK, last time they met.
Rd2
Canning South Perth (C2)17.19-121
Mosman Park (C2)10.7-67

Rd11
Mosman Park (C2)12.16-88
Canning South Perth (C2)9.11-65

one win each, should match up well against each other. Canning with the home ground advantage i think will use the ball better and be able to control the game alot more were they would like it to be. there mud pit should have dried out and make a good game.
CANNING by 4 goals

WARNBRO v BASSENDEAN
last time they met
Rd6
Bassendean (C2)13.8-86
Warnbro Swans (C2)12.10-82
Rd15
Warnbro Swans (C2)9.7-61
Bassendean (C2)9.11-65

Both close games in the reg season, only a kick in it with these two side. basso getting the upper hand but are warnbro ready this time and did they work out were they went wrong the last two games!
going with BASSENDEAN by 9 points.

RESERVES: had a quick look at the final ladder for the 2's boys and i could not believe how close it was for the top 5. anyones ball game!

CANNING SP v WARNBRO,
well done to canning and warnbro on both there 2's in top 3 finish following the league sides efforts for the season.
CANNING for an upset win at home

MOSMAN PARK v SWAN VALLEY
Well did the valley boys drop enough players back to qualify for there 2's and will they bring enough grape juice to win the game? I dont know why this game is at mossie? but ill back them at home.

COLTS:
CANNINGVALE v QUINNS
No doubt all the quinns boys will make the travel and check out both games to see who will make the travel up there way the next week.
Canningvale did have a number of colts push up and play ones this year and no doubt will be alot better for it comming into finals
CANNINGVALE by 5 goals

WARNBRO v BASSENDEAN
Last time these two met, warnbro blew them out of the water by60+ points then the second time round basso got up by about 2 goals. so this will be interesting match but ill go with WARNBRO at home by 13points.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL THIS WEEKEND, LETS HOPE TO SEE SOME GREAT GAMES OF FOOTBALL PLAYED IN GOOD SPIRITS.
ENJOY FINALS FOOTY

Finals Footy!!!! Yessahhhh

League

Canning
I like the Tigers here. I know their past performances in finals have been less than standard, and that will have hurt so I will back their experienced guys to stand up and take this game by the collar. Mossie have had a great season, coming from 0-4 they have been near unstoppable. I just don't think they can get over the line this week, away from home in the mudpit.. Canning by 4-goals.

Warnbro
The best forward vs the best forward-line! Which team can get the ball in more will be the key. Warnbro really impressed me a few weeks back. They continually supply the ball to their FF and if he isn't stopped he will kick a bag. Bassendean are my smokey though, and I love a fairy-tale in footy.... just can't tip them knowing the midfield Warnbro have. Warnbro by a goal.

Reserves

Canning
I have no idea on who will win this one as I only get to watch half a game each week. Home ground advantage here for the Tigers so I will go with them by 3-goals.

Swan Valley
Purely because they will have a truck load of support here being the only Valley side in the finals. Question begs, have the Valley qualified a few of their fringe League guys? I would assume so and would think they may be too strong for the Mosquitoes. Valley by 4-goals.

Colts

Warnbro
1-1 for these teams this season. I have had a keen interest in the LKC this season and personally, I cannot tip a winner here. Purely because they are at 'home' I will tip Warnbro by 1-point.... haha

Canningvale
I hear the mood was electric down at The Den last night. With our Cubs the only side in the finals, we are right behind them as we chase our third flag in 3-seasons. I assume we would field our strongest Colts side of the season - which is a nice feeling going into the weekend. Quinns will obviously have a truck load of support at Wyong this weekend as well and I look forward to a fantastic game of footy.

Good luck to all you lucky bastards playing finals. I will be enjoying a beer hoping for a sunny-day and three good games of footy followed by a Sunday where I can walk!!!
Loves kicking goals, passing them off is only an option.

Unfortunately I won't be attending this weeks finals game as I've tee'd up to be inside the SD coaches box to see how the big boys work. Hopefully we get through and will get to see a game next week.

Canning to get first crack at Quinns
Warnbro to bow out in the second game

Warnbro to get first crack at quinns in the ressies
Valley (of course) to win through to next week

Maggies, that's a fair win to each team. That doesn't normally happen too much in finals. Surely one of them will be close?

LAG, did u have many colts to choose from? Many miss out?
Hope they don't crack the $h!ts and go to another club.

Must be the hardest time of the year for all coaches out there when you have 30 blokes to choose from and unfortunately some have to miss out.

Funny you say that, we did the stats this week. Have had 50-players thru the League, 70!!! thru the Reserves and 43 from memory thru the Colts over the season.

With three injuries, and one Colt not training this week, it was an easy selection I hear. But with those three likely to come back in, there will be a couple of very unlucky guys.. They are great kids, and I doubt any of them will leave over something small like that!
