The penultimate round is upon us and it's an important one! The top five is still to be finalised and Kenwick breathed life into the relegation battle last weekend too!

Canning SP v Manning
Last time:Manning Rippers 9.3-57 def by Canning South Perth 21.20-146

The Rippers have had a poor season and it won't improve against a Canning side stung by last weeks defeat by table topping Quinns Districts. The Tigers by a lot, even at the Mudpit.

Swan Valley v Bassendean
Last time: Bassendean 13.8-86 def Swan Valley 10.11-71

The Valley pushed Basso all the way last time around and will be hoping to do so again in a vital opportunity to put the threat of relegation behind them. It won't be easy against a Swans side looking to shore up a top five spot though and The Valley will need to be a hell of a lot better than they were last week. Basso in a close one.

SNESA v Kenwick
Last time: Kenwick 15.12-102 Snesa 8.6-54

The Royals handed SNESA a spanking in the first round and will be very keen to repeat it. If they can the relegation battle will be well and truly on. SNESA have been solid if a little inconsistent. Interesting game, Kenwick for mine with everything on the line.

Canningvale v Quinns Districts
Last time: Quinns District 20.20-140 Canning Vale 8.8-56

If there was any doubt over who's the best side Quinns dispelled them last week with a solid win over the second placed Tigers. The Cougars got flogged by Warnbro and that's not the sort of form to bring to a party with the Bulls. Quinns by plenty.

Warnbro v Mosman Park (MOTR)
Last time: Mosman Park 11.6-72 Warnbro Swans 10.9-69

The double chance is up for grabs here and they had a cracker first time around so it should be a great game. Warnbro seem to have rediscovered their mojo at the right time so I'll go with them at home.

Bassendean
Swan Valley losing last week to make an interesting fortnight in terms of relegation. Bassendean still very much a hot and cold prospect depending on whether their forwards can fire. I can't see Basso losing this one.
Bassendean by 50-points

Kenwick
Like Dingo, I will pick Kenwick. The battle of the Harris brothers will again be on. Last time the Royals got up quite easily. I do love a good fairy-tale and I hope to see them win this one to give both the Royals and the Valley something to play for in the final round.
Kenwick by 12-points

Canningvale
Two ends of the spectrum here. We are likely to finish 6th if we lose this one and Quinns proved their dominance by winning the top of the table clash last weekend. It is going to be a tough day for us, but if we play well for 4-quarters we have a chance.

Warnbro
Warnbro gave us a real touch up last week - as mentioned they are as good as any side we have played this season. In saying that, we had a better side on the park when we played Mossie, so maybe it only felt that way. I think this will be a close one, but at home, I will pick Warnbro.

CANNING by 100+points. the tigers should bounce back hard after last weeks efforts and unfortunatley for manning they will cop the raw end of it!. . on a side note, i did hear that one of the old manning long time members walked out on the club and jumped ship to canning! so should be interesting.
BASSENDEAN by 50+points, secure there spot at 5th and are setting up nicely for finals.
KENWICK for 2 in a row by 7 points. and they get this game at home because SNESA is flooded.
sorry LAG but, QUINNS by 100+points. please shock and surprise us all with a win and get your boys over the line would be massive for the comp!
And in GOTR, ill go with WARNBRO at home by 13points. had a nice win last week and should take that momentum into this week.

the valley coming off a loss host an up and down basso, i'll take basso

SNESA v Kenwick
the game is being held at Belmont's ground. from what was said they didn't want us to get home ground advantage. i think we have the players to knock them off again and keep our hopes of avoiding relegation alive

Canningvale v Quinns Districts
Canningvale are a better side at home but it is too hard to tip against quinns anywhere. i'll take quinns by 5-6 goals.

Warnbro v Mosman Park
interesting game this one, warnbro have been playing better lately but could always put in a bad performance. i'll tip Warnbro to win at home in a tight one.

Bassendean by 20 points closer than people think, Basso hot and cold.
SNESA by 30 points Kenwick put in a big one for reasons last week. Back to normal this week.
Quinns by 110+ points. Will be playing C1 next year and will smash Cvale.
Mosman Pk by 11 points especially if their ump is doing the job, he is the 19th man.
