Well no surprises on the weekend apart from some of the margins! Most tipped five apart from those who have to go with their hearts which is fair enough, especially if you're playing!
The Valley were steadily dismantled by a more polished Quinns. Superior ball use meant every turnover was punished. Couldn't question the Valley's effort, just outclassed by a better side. Very cold day with a constant breeze making kicking difficult for all, apart from Quinns #14 who had a field day!
Manning copped another hiding,Kenwick lost by a lot too, which surprised me and especially since their colts and Ressies got up! Perhaps Basso had to take some lads up despite rumours saying they would do the opposite! Smart move as they remain well in finals contention and with a healthy percentage could even get a home final. The Cougars got the job done against SNESA and The Tigers are looking very ominous in the run to the finals, an exciting few weeks left!
