Been out of the country for the last several weeks and come back to find things have certainly changed in C3

Pretty much Ellenbrooks premiership to lose from here after smashing Noranda few weeks back playing tough football reading the posts against a team who are basically soft and don't like it tough !!!!

Carlisle have tough 3 weeks ahead of them playing Nollamara, Noranda and Cockburn in the next 3 weeks so that will sort out if they finish top 3....

Cockburn look to have wrapped up 5th spot....

So who do u think will play Ellenbrook in the Grand Final ? If Carlisle are a little off their game and Nollamara finish top 3 I think it will be them if not they will find it hard and possibly Noranda might which will make for a lopsided GF... Don't write Carlisle off but the next 3 weeks will say a lot about them

Noranda and Carlisle seem to be very evenly matched. Carlisle were able to score more against ellenbrook but the margin was the same that the eels beat noranda by. I would still think it will be one of these two teams but having said that, Cockburn smashed east freo who have been playing well recently. All will be revealed soon.

pretty sure no-one has yet booked themselves a grandfinal spot yet, that is to come in about a months time! still plenty of work to be done, no forgone conclusions in footy

Ellenbrook going on a rampage and just smashing other contenders atm. Would be a massive surprise if they don't go on and win it from here easily!

I was down at the ellenbrook and dianella game and from what I saw poor old dianella was struggling for players started off with one on the bench then ended up with seventeen players running around in the last quater good on the boys who played on with good spirits and never gave up !!
On the other hand ellenbrook played the ball nicely with very good run and carry they also play good as a team I think they defiantly play in the grand final from what I saw !!!

My final 6 prediction with 4 games to go...

Ellenbrook WWWW - 64
Noranda WWWW - 60
Carlisle WLWW - 52
Nolla LWWW - 48
Cock burn LWLL - 40
Easts WLWL - 36

cant be far wrong Piesman though I reckon Carlisle will knock off Noranda the next time they meet....

They would be well advised to take a leaf out of Ellenbrook's book and play them hard few go missing when it gets tough

a few go missing from carlisle when it gets tough aswell staples

It's a very close comp but I reckon only 4 can win it from here. Cockburn Lakes, East Freo and our boys could snaffle 5th but on current form Easts have the biggest scalps on their blades.

If I was running a book, this is what i'd have:

Ellenbrook $2 - sitting pretty on top and look to have up loads of momentum after smashing the in form Carlisle a few weeks ago. There's to lose.

Noranda $3.50 - started the season on fire but struggled over the past month as boom recruits have gone missing. Could still turn it on if they all come back for finals.

Carlisle $4 - have drifted since the Ellenbrook pumping but did beat them earlier in the year. Could shorten again with a good showing against Noranda in a couple of weeks.

Nollamara $6 - this team physically intimidates other teams and does it well. They have an army of supporters that can muzzle any opposition when they get a run on. No one wants to play them and for that reason they are the dark horse.
