All games so far as expected. No result posted from Uni V Mt Lawley. Can somebody put up the result if they know it.

Collegians are now offically playing B Grade next year and based on recent form Maddo will need a miracle to survive.

It is still a 5 team race for the other two spots in the five with four games to go.

Mt Lawley 00.00
University 00.00

Wesley Curtin 15.12 (102)
C.B.C. 8.6 (54)

Maddington 4.9 (33)
North Beach 20.10 (130)

Collegians 10.5 (65)
Whitford 16.9 (105)

Trinity Aquinas 12.9 (81)
Swan Athletic 8.14 (62)

Some beltings today. Percentage could be the difference between A Grade and relegation.

Good to see Whitfords back in the winners circle. Will be a huge game at Wesley Curtin in 2 weeks time.

heard a couple stories about some of the grape pickers going the knuckle once TA's got their noses in front for good on Saturday arvo. also heard that there were teeth lost? must have been a fair bust up

interesting side note that Swan Ath, while they have been super competitive and probably should have won their share, are yet to get up over TA's in 4 home and away matches over the past 2 seasons. most of them within 2 goals. wonder if that will play any part comes finals time if Ath scrape in with their likely opponent being somewhat of a bogey side. Can Swan Ath win close ones against TA's? seems not but they'll be making up the numbers anyway

if I was from Wesley, i'd be even more determined to redeem myself given the loss earlier in the year. I don't think you'll get within 10 goals but all the best, 4 points here will go a hell of a long way to getting Whitties in to the 5.

Yep,front 2 front teeth apparently. The offender was a Swan Districts colts player.

Sign up for the forum just to bring that up did you Big Bird?

While never supporting too much violence in footy, it is safe to suggest that an overload of arrogance and badgering from TA's sparked the events. Then a laughable response from their players who attemped chasing a swan ath player off the ground.

Well at least the Trinity Boys has their Daddys there to stick up for them, one not handling his chardonay or red wine too well, attempting to fight and yell classy lines at anyone and everyone from Swan Athletic.

with the game close all day, 6 or 7 of TA's 12 goals came from free kicks, even the big forward was laughing at the kicks he was getting. Maybe this burst open the frustration bubble for Athletic players?

Mac Attack,

You condemn a father being outraged when his son is punched (resulting in missing teeth) in front of him?

Poor effort to blame an act of violence on the opposition giving a bit of lip in what was a tight game of footy by all reports.

Interestingly it’s noted the player in question is actually a Swans Colts player. Pretty sure the Swan Ath Committee would be unimpressed at having to deal with the fallout from a player who is on permit.

Does anybody know why the fixtures changed sequence in the 2nd Round?

The teams who played each other in Rnd 6, are playing each other in Rnd 18, instead of Rnd 15 (next week).

Did that happen last year or is there some dark reason for it that defies explanation?
