The last 5 games look like being the most competitive in the last decade for the sides placed from 4th to 9th. You may even need 7 wins to avoid relegation which is certainly the highest number of losing games ever for a side to have been relegated.

Each of the six sides from 4th to 9th could be palying finals in 2013 or getting ready for B Grade in 2014.

Results went as expected for Rnd 13. Possibly the big surprise was the North Beach score of 30 points. That was possibly their lowest score for 15 years in the home and away season. A 55 point thrashing at the hands of Wesley will do nothing for their confidence heading into the finals.

Injuries for a lot of sides starting to take their toll at the moment and the break at the end of July will be welcome by most teams.

University 11.12 (78)
Collegians 6.5 (41)

C.B.C. 12.13 (85)
Mt Lawley 12.16 (88)

North Beach 4.6 (30)
Wesley Curtin 12.13 (85)

Maddington 6.8 (44)
Swan Athletic 17.11 (113)

Whitford 10.9 (69)
Trinity Aquinas 11.12 (78)

spewin I missed Swan Athletics biggest win of the year, chose the safer option by going out to claremont to watch the ducks.

What a competitive ladder! You would think Collegians are gone. The top 3 are set, anything goes for the rest!
