Although the final score on sat afternoon ( Car 22.17 def Arm 11.7 ) was nothing to smile about unless your part of the Carlisle faithful,Armadale did have a reason to be excited with a newcomer wearing the #10 for the red and blacks.I was unable to ascertain his name and am hoping someone on here knows as he deserves some serious recognition for what he achieved in the back half on Saturday. Although he lacks the flair of some of his team mates its his commitment to the footy that really impressed me, second effort after second effort. With only 20 minutes remaining in the final quarter deep in his defensive 50 he made a fantastic spoil and followed it up 3 seconds later with what can only be described as the best smother I have ever seen. Even though the game was well and truely over by this stage he didn't give up till the final siren sounded. To finish I was talking to someone after the game who informed this was only the kids 2nd game of league footy!! Well done #10 very impressive
