Another big round in the road to the finals. The much anticipated clash between the charging Mosman Park and the all conquering Quinns Districts is the headliner! The other clashes whilst they should go as per the ladder positions all affect finals and relegation prospects. An upset ot two would certainly throw the cat amongst the pigeons!

Swan Valley v Canningvale
Last time: Canningvale 23.16 169 def Swan Valley 9.9 63

The Valley played their worst game ov the year in round 4 at the Den. They will be looking to be a lot more competitive at home and would love to take another top 5 scalp.

Canningvale in a close one.

Bassendean v Manning
Last time: Manning 5.8 38 def by Bassendean 21.11 137

The season is getting long for the Rippers and unfortunately I can't see it improving against a Bassendean side pushing for a finals berth. A percentage booster here, Bassendean by a lot.

Mosman Park v Quinns Districts
Last time: Quinns Districts 26.17 173 def Mosman Park 4.6 30

I think it's safe to say the margin will not be as big this time! The Mossies have surged, winning 8 in a row, are they good enough to beat the Bulls who have barely been challenged? No doubt plenty of fans will be checking match day results to see which way tyhis one goes! The small oval might help but I just can't go past a team that hasn't lost, the Bulls by a few goals.

Kenwick v Warnbro
Last time: Warnbro 23.16 154 def Kenwick 4.6 30

I'm pretty sure this one will also be a lot closer than last time! The Royals have been very competitive and will grow a leg at MIlls Park. I don't think it will be enough though as Warnbro seem to have overcome a mid season mini slump, the Swans by 5 goals.

SNESA v Canning SP
Last time: Canning SP 17.12 114 def SNESA 11.7 73

This is a game where the margin may be larger than the last time. Canning have been impressive whilst SNESA have fallen away from finals contention. The Tigers move the ball extremely well but there's no love lost between the two former ground sharers, can SNESA fire up and snatch an upset? UNlikely for mine, the Tigers comfortably.

Good luck to all!

Amongst all the hype around the Ashes, another Round of the C2 Competition beckons and there are some cracking matches to be played. As Dingo said, all eyes will be on the Quinns/Mossie Park game. Other games have just as much at stake - The Valley need a win to stay away from the relegation zone. The Royals have probably underachieved in terms of wins but are playing good footy at the minute - they play Warnbro who need to make a statement after a bumpy last few weeks. Canningvale finally showed some good signs last week at matched it with a finals contender for four quarters.

Lets hope for some good hard football to go along with a mighty win for the Baggy-Greens!

Swan Valley v Canningvale
Last time: Canningvale 23.16 169 def Swan Valley 9.9 63
Long drive out the the Valley this week for our guys. Some good signs last week for us - and we MUST make this game count. With Basso just behind us and Mossie facing Quinns this is a massive game in terms of finals. Valley will be looking to avoid relegation - they have taken a couple of scalps this season and we will not take them lightly regardless of the Round 4 result.
Canningvale

Bassendean v Manning
Last time: Manning 5.8 38 def by Bassendean 21.11 137
One way traffic here methinks! Manning smashed by the 9th ranked Royals last week. This could be a 200+ point win if Basso's forwards all fire.
Bassendean

Mosman Park v Quinns Districts
Last time: Quinns Districts 26.17 173 def Mosman Park 4.6 30
GOTR - All eyes on this one. Mosman Park were good last week against us - but are they good enough to beat Quinns?? They play good, hard running footy with very few passengers. Quinns run very well forward of the ball so the deciding factor for me will be whether the Mossie mids can make the Quinns pay on the rebound. I still think Quinns will win
Quinns

Kenwick v Warnbro
Last time: Warnbro 23.16 154 def Kenwick 4.6 30
Lesbehonest here, the Royals have underachieved this season in terms of premiership points... Warnbro started like a house on fire but have since been less convincing. At Mills Park I can see this being a cracker of a game. A Royals win and a Valley lose will see them on equal points with a few rounds to go. I am feeling lucky here and will tip Clarko's boys in the upset of the round.
Kenwick

SNESA v Canning SP
Last time: Canning SP 17.12 114 def SNESA 11.7 73
Canning for me here - SNESA are a good side when they ahve all their cattle on the park but with just 1-win from their last 9-games I can't see them getting close here regardless of the history between the clubs. Canning had a hiccup a few weeks back but for me are the standout team of the comp and will win easily.
Canning

As always, good luck to all - and lets hope Smithy and Hughesy can get us over the line tonight.

My tips for this week. C2 RD13

CANNINGVALE by 4 goals. To me this game could go both ways, but I think canningvale will want it more and have a better spred around the ground! Don't get me wrong I think valley are more than capable of winning if they find the right grapes but canningvale are stronger on the day.
BASSENDEAN by lots.
QUINNS by 10 goals, will be to quick and skilful for mossie. Don't get me wrong I think the mossie boys are coming along just nicely but it's going to take a lot to get close to this good side.
WARNBRO by 5 goals. Kenwick had a good win last week and will be looking to knock off a top side but I think Warnbro will out do the wickers.
CANNING by 6 goals. Old rivalry between these two clubs, SNESA would love nothing more than to knock off canning but I don't think there day will come just yet. Canning still looking strong and I think with the injuries they have for at the moment there depth is not a problem.

And for the main game on Sunday, the mighty eagles by 21 points! With Young Gaff to win the glendenning medal!

Good luck to all this weekend and let's hope the rain stays away.

Haha will not bother me one bit, ill find some shelter to watch the games!
True skills in the dry, but when it rains that's when the magic begins and the boys stand out from the men!
I know your busy clarkson but you have only got 4 games out of 5 and canning twice?
