Nollamara (4th) v Cockburn Lakes (5th) @ Des Penman Reserve

Game of the round. Such an important game with the winner to keep themselves an extra game ahead of the rampaging East Freo and almost cement themselves in the 5. Both are coming off wins and will want to continue the streak as we enter the last third of the home and away season. Last time in was Cockburn 117-67 but that was down at Anning – Nolla are a different side at home.

Dianella Morley (7th) v Armadale (9th) @ Dianella Open Space

Dianella won last time and need the points here to stay in touch with the top 5. They suffered a loss to Easts on the weekend and dropped a spot on the ladder, this is their redemption. Armadale are (barring a miracle) going to be relegated. Their aim will be to ruin a few clubs chances at finals – this week they will see as one of those chances.

Dianella to win.

Ballajura (8th) v East Fremantle (6th) @ Kingfisher Oval

Ballajura got close to Cockburn but fell short at the end of the 100 minutes. Last time they lost by a point even though they had far more scoring shots – they should feel at home in front of the sticks this week on their small oval. East Freo are going from strength to strength as they hunt down a spot in the 5 – they are a good winning streak that doesn’t look like stopping anytime soon.

Noranda (2nd) v Belmont (10th) @ Lightning Park

A couple of losses in the last few weeks have dropped the Hawks back into the pack chasing a top 3 spot but they will use this week to bounce back into some form and gain valuable %. They should have no problems against the winless Bombers. Belmont haven’t been able to competitive for the full 4 quarters and this has hurt them all season – it’s REALLY going to hurt this week.

Noranda to win.

Carlisle (3rd) v Ellenbrook (1st) @ Carlisle Reserve

It’s past players day for the Cougars and they’ll be up and about after last weeks big win. Last time the sides played, Carlisle left Coolamon with the 4 points and would be confident of getting them in front of the large crowd this week. The Eels had a good win against the Hawks but now need to reset for the Cougars – they totally outplayed Ellenbrook last time, this time the Eels will be ready from the first bounce.
