Some very big games this Saturday!!!

TA's vs SECRET HARBOUR-Both teams had important wins last week. TA's continued their improved form defeating fellow improvers Jandakot. In doing so they kept their faint finals hopes alive and still find themselves 6 points adrift of the 5. They will need to win each of the 6 remaining games to pinch 5th. The Harbour found some better form at home and not only sured up a top 4 finish but kept hopes alive of obtaining 2nd/3rd and the double chance. For me this is a 50/50 game The Harbour don't play as well away from their crap heap and TA's are up and about. I'll back the Trinity boys to keep the surge going.

ROLEYSTONE vs SWAN VIEW-Last time these 2 teams met both were undefeated heading in and since then they've each headed separate directions. We all know the round 3 game was called off at 3/4 time with The View 20 goals ahead. I can guarantee that we are going up there to play 4 qtrs of hard,committed football as we have done all season,hopefully Roleystone can handle it a bit better this time around and not have to head hunt if and when they fall behind. The View by 5+ goals.

COCKBURN vs JANDAKOT-Massive game for Jandakot here. They need to get back on the winners list ASAP and before last week they probably would've pencilled this one in. However with a loss to TA's and The Cobras getting a great win against Brentwood this now seems a genuine 50/50 game,especially if Jandakot are low in numbers. The Jandakot colts are playing at Noranda so they'll have to fly down the highway if they are needed to double up. Cockburn would be cock a hoop after last week but now they have to back it up. Tossed a coin and went Jandakot by a goal.

WEMBLEY vs BRENTWOOD-You'd think looking at ladder positions that Brentwood would win this easily and I think they will but it seems all is not well at Karoonda ATM. I said last week that it was no time to panic when sitting 2nd but after a loss to the bottom team,with players out and others struggling to be motivated they'd want to find some good form quickly in the lead up to the finals and sure up 2nd spot.Again they get another chance to do so here against lowly Wembley who we played last week. They didn't have a very attacking mindset after qtr time so hopefully for the players sake they try and score a few goals and try to win the game. Good bunch of blokes but.
Anyway,Brentwood at home will be too strong,5+ goals.
Ressies-Wembley by 6 goals
SOUTHERN RIVER vs OSBORNE PARK-The River have had some patchy form of late! 3 bad losses and a win against 2nd placed Brentwood. Their spot in the 5 is safe but they need to stop the rot here and stay in contention for the double chance. They should do so at home against an Ozzy Park side who notched only their 4th win of the season last week. They've tried hard but would be disappointed with their season.

The last round saw how close and unpredictable the competition is. The round winner was Mad Dog with 3 tips out of 5. Footblr wouldn’t be too concerned about not chucking in the tips since the away teams to win were the underdogs of Trinity and Cockburn. The ladder shows Mad Dog has made up the point deficit he had on FL87, so it’s all tied up at the top. Not much else happened in the standings with everyone else getting 2 tips correct for the round.

Both had an impressive win against teams they had to beat. Trinity play well for a 3rds team and still have a sniff at finals. Secret Harbour should take care of Trinity though, and will have to go down the road to the Como or Mt Henry if they want a victory beer. The Harbour to win.

Roleystone vs. Swan View @ Cross Park
Last Time; Swan View 136 Defeated Roleystone 12

Roleystone lost to Osborne Park and now come up against the competitions form team. Swan View keep ticking the boxes and getting the wins. By the stories of last time, there were a few scuffles throughout the game and probably no love lost between them. Let’s hope that transpires to a hard and fair game of footy. Swan View to win.

Cockburn Cobras vs. Jandakot @ Davilak Reserve
Last Time; Jandakot 103 Defeated Cobras 78

The Cobras are probably still hung over from the celebrations of knocking off Brentwood away last week. Now they know they can win, let’s see if they do it again. Jandakot had a yip, losing to Trinity last week. Possibly were complacent after getting all those scalps in the past few weeks. Both teams have improved since they last met, but I think Jandakot have improved more. Jandakot to win.

Wembley vs. Brentwood Booragoon @ Henderson Park
Last Time; Brentwood 126 Defeated Wembley 62

Both teams were on the losing end last week, although Wembley lost to the top team while Brentwood lost to the bottom. The dogs will be very keen to get back out there and show what the guys can do to a lower team in the right state of mind. Sorry Wembley, but I don’t think it is going to be pretty. Brentwood to win.

Southern River vs. Osborne Park @ Sutherlands Park
Last Time; Osborne Park 55 Defeated by Southern River 128

Osborne Park got a win by beating a team around them, and Southern River were out classed by Secret Harbour last week. The River has lost the last 2 games and I can’t see them letting this one go at any cost. Southern River to win.
