A great game at Wyong, Canning kicked the last five goals to blow the margin out, flattering the home team. Don't get me wrong, Canning were too good but were not a ten goal better team. The game flowed well with both sides playing some attractive football. The bigger bodies told in the end as The Valley tired and couldn't hold the Tigers off in the last 15 minutes.
Mosman Park are pushing for the top three now and Canningvale will be glad Bassendean didn't get up as it's very tight in the race to the finals.
Quinns marched on and Basso are no doubt ruing a missed opportunity to close the gap on the Cougars.
Kenwick gave Manning an old fashioned spanking to revive their survival chances. The Rippers look doomed to relegation but stranger things have happened!
Warnbro returned to form and effectively ended SNESA's finals hopes. Six games to go and there's a good scrap for the top three, fifth place and the unenviable relegation battle is on in ernest!
