Massive upset with The Cobras,who sit last, getting over the top of 2nd placed Brentwood. Well done to the lads from Cockburn who have done it tough all year,with that form they should be able to get another win or 2 before seasons end. The other upset of sorts was TA's keeping their finals hopes alive with a win over form side Jandakot. The Trinity boys had been in better form of late but so had Jandakot. That result makes it a race in 2 for 5th spot after Roleystone folded like a deck of cards to Osborne Park. Good to see The Park boys notch another win after also doing it tough this year. The other surprise was that of the Harbour-River game. Not so much the result but the margin. With that result and the Brentwood result,the race for 2nd spot again opens up. The View open up a 2 game buffer at the top with a thumping win over Wembley. On what was a special day with a great crowd our boys put the issue beyond doubt with an 8 goal to nil 1st qtr. Wembley threw players behind the ball after that and pretty much gave themselves no chance of scoring. Not sure why you'd do that,at least give the boys a chance of scoring a few goals. Anyway,onwards and upwards to next week.

yep absolute stinker by the bulldogs in front of their home crowd. Full credit to cockburn who came ready to play and really showed us up with some great finishing skills and a determination I could only admire!

1st qtr cockburn had 6 goals to our one! 2nd quarter we pretty much halved it maybe brentwood got a couple back, difference about 4 goals at half time. Third quarter basically halved again, brentwood probably got another one back, 3 goal margin. 4th quarter was a see sawing event, brentwood seemed to be getting on top then cockburn would get the steadier. A bit annoying no one had bothered to do the scoreboard as the players didnt know what the score was, brentwood seemed to keep coming, then cockburn would chuck some water on the fire with another goal. Siren went and unfortunatley the boys were a goal short.

Cant give teams 5 goals head starts every week and then try pegg it back, has worked for the last couple of weeks but eventually was going to fail!

Well done to cockburn who never let us back in the game, what ever we threw at them they stood up and challenged again. I hope they enjoyed the victory celebrations!

for us it is back to the draing board, hopefully get back to some basics that saw us win 7 on the trot. will be great to get our midfield back in the next couple of weeks and see if we cant try start getting some momentum together.

Tough day down at Rhonda Scarrott Oval for our boys. First off, poor club facilities, no canteen, just a section cordoned off by tape around a tent and BBQ for a drinking area, probably 10 metres away from the playing field.

I didn't catch much of the league game as I had made it back in time to play for thr ressids game after being on Rotto since Wednesday. Needed to see my kids. Honestly it waz one of the most poorly played games by us, skills let us down big time and all credit to Secret Harbour fot their run and carry and forward pressure.

Im sure Screech will fill you all in at some point about the League game. Hopefully both sides can get back on track against Osborne Park this weekend coming.

Yeah disappointing day at the Swamplands for the boys.

Just lacking numbers - unfortunately without a thirds; the depth can be tested at times... League lead all day bar the last 4 minutes I suppose. One of TAs goals was on/after the siren.

In the important main event - the PowerPUFF Cup - the boys were even beaten there and my misses showed me how to kick straight!!!!!

You named 27 colts,24 reserves players and 22 league players. That's more than enough isn't it? And you guys were at home.
Interesting to note that The Harbours colts,who were a game clear in 4th,forfeited to the 5th placed team. Maybe they played some of the better colts players through the league and ressies.

Yup - very short. 8 out from the win against Southern River.

!?!?!?Putting people on the Team Sheet isn't a hard thing to do really. And it is certainly easier to cross people off when they are not there than hand writing them on.

We normally try and keep our initial Team Sheets to the most likely 28 that will play - then scrub them off if they don't play.
