I am not sure if I'll get a chance to post it later on in the week so here's the
early addition! The rankings haven't changed and no one backed the Jets so no one got the whopper this week, although FL87 and Maddog increased their leads over the others with them both tipping Wembley. I thought this could have been a sportsmanship tip to both lose and make the competition closer, but it seems there was a method to their maddess!

Seceret Harbour vs. Southern River @ Rhonda Scarrott

Osborne Park vs. Roleystone @ Robinson Reserve

I'm afforded some time off this week so will go a bit more in depth with my tips.

JANDAKOT vs TA's-This game here is TA's absolute last chance to make a run at the finals. They've been improved lately and have taken it right up to the top 2 teams but came away with nothing. They need to win this and then probably every other remaining game to claim 5th spot. Jandakot on the other hand can sure up 5th position with a win following some great victories against more fancied rivals. After a slow start to the year they are now shaping as contenders but need to keep the momentum going. Finals is still 7 weeks away.
Will tip Jandakot because its at home.
RESSIES-TA's by lots.

SWAN VIEW vs WEMBLEY-This Saturday is our "BACK TO THE VIEW" Bruno Furina Memorial Game. We will have a free bouncy castle,face painting and ice creams for the kids so hoping for some good weather.
We seem to play much better football against the challengers. Our 1st halves in the last 2 weeks have been poor but we've only conceded one goal in the other 4 qtrs. hopefully it's something we address this Saturday in front of what will be a good crowd. 1st time around Wembley stuck tough against us and they would have some confidence about them after last weeks win.
I'm sure our boys will come with a better attitude and effort from the start this week,on a big occasion and that spells danger for Wembley hopefully. The View by 6+ goals.
RESSIES-The View by 4 goals

BRENTWOOD vs COCKBURN- Brentwood in some patchy form by own admission. Mid season slump,injuries etc etc. Hardly time for panic stations though when your sitting 2nd.I noticed the colts forfeited last week which for their sake is hopefully is rectified. Cockburn are playing for pride and they fought hard for a half last week before being outclassed. They will do so again here but this game provides a good opportunity for Brentwood to get the momentum back. Brentwood by 10 goals.
RESSIES-Brentwood by a couple

SECRET HARBOUR vs SOUTHERN RIVER-This game has great significance towards who can earn the double chance. The River have an opportunity to get a 2 game buffer on The Harbour if they win while The Harbour keep Jandakot at bay if they get up and keep their double chance hopes alive. Both have been beaten by Jandakot in recent weeks and after we played both teams I'd say The Harbour were the better side but we did play them on their heap. Won't be much in it at the end but ill go The Harbour at home.

OSBORNE PARK vs ROLEYSTONE-This could be the weekly who cares cup as both teams are done and dusted after losses last week but I care. I hope ROLEYSTONE get flogged!! Was great to see Wembley touch them up last week and hopefully The Park lads can get a win on the board here at home. The Park by 3 goals

unfortunately victims of the uni holidays, may cause issue this week also, will see numbers on the track during the week and make a judgement call. Very disappointing seeing as last weeks and this weeks colts opponents had only won one game for the year between them, so handy points being thrown away. I am sure the boys will learn what commitment is one day

some interesting results coming out of last week, with Jandakot upsetting fellow contenders SR and Wembley pretty much stopping Roleystone’s chances of making the finals it looks like we may have our top 5 set. Still a long way to go but the teams below Jandakot have to show some willingness to win otherwise it is season over for them. Jandakot have a 6 point buffer on 6th spot and only 6 points behind 3rd spot could shake up the order on which the final 5 finish, if they keep playing the way they play.

JANDAKOT V TA'S
Saw Jandakot first hand take the game away from SR last week. It just looked like they wanted the ball more and were a lot hungrier than we were last week. TA's took it to Brentwood last week and unlucky not to come away with the win just need to learn how to finish off a game. Even tho it is at the swampland I think TA's might surprise Jandakot here and keep their faint finals hopes alive with a 2 goal victory.

Well this will be a cracker of a game. Two finals contenders and a lot on the line for both teams here. SR don’t want to lose two games in a row and give 4th&5th spot a sniff of taking their third possie away from them. At the same time SH could drop down to fifth if they lose this one. A lot riding on this one but I can’t see us dropping two games in a row. SR by 5 goals

OSBORNE PARK V ROLEYSTONE
This game is very simple if Roley want to still make the finals this is a must win. lose and that will be all she wrote for them. OP won’t lay down dying here and on their big oval know that they can take it to Roley. Going for flip of a coin and it has come up Roley by 2 points.
