Rumour has it that there was a bit of trouble at the show grounds yesterday with spectator(s) involved in an altercation with a player on the field. Does anyone have any info about what happened?

An onfield scuffle occurred. A player from Kelmscott hit a Wanneroo player.

Most players from both teams came in to remonstrate, nothing to out of control but an idiot from the Kelmscott bench wearing a Charlotte Hornets beanie (That's at least a 10 year beanie!) ran onto the field and started pushing and trying to hit Wanneroo players.

Everyone saw it, the tool was then instructed by the Kelmscott bench to take off his jacket and beanie as perhaps to make the 100 people in the crowd think he was a different person.

Acting president then sorted it out by asking he get removed from the bench. (Not sure if he went as far as to tell him to go home)

This was then followed up by Kelmscott reserves having only 2 guys rock up and forfeiting!!!

I am an old SFL player and some things appear to not have changed.

It makes you think how their league side can be 2nd yet they cant field two's.

I noticed Armadale forfeited their reserves against Noranda on the weekend as well, a shame to see formally strong sides seemingly on the way out.

Strange that Kelmscott forfeited ressies but fielded a thirds team.

Pretty sure it is an automatic forfeit for your thirds if the reserves dont get a team?

Same as you cant forfeit league but have a reserves team, also applies if you have 2 colts sides the higher grade must be filled first.

Stops guys pulling out due to travel (which may have happened here?)

By the looks of it the kelmscott reserves team don't get handed fuel cards like the league team as they decided food for the rest of the week was more important than getting to a footy game.
