Jandakot the big movers and shakers this round, disposing of another team above them and with 7 games left the top 5 looks set to me after Roleystone were beaten by Wembley. TA's got close to Brentwood as I suggested and they will scare a few teams late in the year. Yesterday was probably the last roll of the dice to make finals for them. Secret Harbour got back on the winning list after 3 straight losses.
Our game against the Cobras saw the lads from Hamilton Hill bring good effort and attitude and at half time scores were level. We played some average footy and weren't very efficient going forward. After half time our boys stepped it up a notch and we banged on 11:11 to 1:1 in the second half.

Bit of chat for the ressies boys here...
TA's and Wembley continue to set the tempo with convincing wins and it will be interesting to see how many of the league boys are qualified for the 2's come finals time with the 1's not playing. It looks like a race in 3 with our lads doing a great job despite numerous injuries and FIFO and id say with our best 22 on the park we will beat anyone.Yesterday we got back on track and sets up a big game against Wembley next week. The last 2 spots looks a race in 3 between The River,The Harbour and The Park.Amazingly,if the scores are correct,Secret Harbour kicked 3:14 in the last qtr to go down by a goal.

similar story in the brentwood TA's game. We were very ordinary in the 1st half, going into the big break about 4-5 goals adrift. A solid third qtr saw us get back into the game to lead by about a goal at 3 qtr time.

Hats off to TA who kept coming, we lead by about 2-3 goals with 5 mins to go, they kicked 3 on the trot to hit the lead again, luckily we were able to muster up one more major to take the 4 points!

was a great show of resilience from the boys to fight back from where we were, time to start taking some momentum into the second half of the season and see what we can make of it!

Bulldog we had the same prob not being able to get a beer when we played Tas up there to the swamp boys wernt to impressed we went to the como :)

Our game against southern river was a good fair tussle all day. We got out to a four goal break early and managed to hold it for the rest of the day. Just to let the boys know from river that we couldn't hang around for ages as we had a function on in Fremantle that night. I did however buy 6 Extra cold Carlton drys from the bar and enjoyed a Winnie red on the benches before I left :)

You're not shitting there - their beer is nice and cooooooooold! Old bloke in the canteen makes a mean River Burger too - got nothing on The Might Hanger burger from the Swamplands - but a fine effort all the same...

make sure your boys are swithced on this week dicky, TA's looked to be a different outfit to first time we played them.

Thanks Mate - TA's smashed us the last time; so hopefully we are a different side as well :) Big Game for us... Very Important.

Below is our Hanger Burger... Think you can Handle It? I think Stacky burgers are the traditional SOR market leaders - The Hanger Burger is the modern day champ.

Check out YouTube for instructions on how to handle THE HANGER:

Now it seems obvious why the Jandakot boys started slow this year, had to run off the extra kgs gains by downing those things on the off season..

Haha RJ you could be right. The champion CLAMPTON has had a very good last few weeks after finally digesting that burger he destroyed in Beastly time.
