Spoke to a mate at Lynwood and not 5 cards and game called off with about 10 mins to go.

Hi Yes game got called off half way through the last quarter in the Lynwood game.

All in brawl started on the wing when Kingsley kicked a goal.......Not sure why 6 of their players felt it appropriate to run into one of our players that far off the ball, and why the backman ran from 60 meters away to get involved. Anyway that kid needs a total recon now from your actions and will miss most of next year. At the end of it all Lynwood ended up with 2x yellow cards and 1 x red card, all players were sent off for abusing the umpire.......They were asking him flat, what are you going to do now this is all happened from your dealings with issues during the game......The ump didnt like that and just started marching Lynwood players from the ground. The umpire was heard after the game saying he didnt want the game called off as he wanted Kingsway to win, and he was also drinking beer straight after the league game before he had finished the paperwork, so clearly so issues here. There is also an issue that a number of Lynwood players were grabbed by the kingsway runner during the game which is again a nono.....

I have been in some fun games from my Sunday league days but never before have i come across a side that was that dirty, even afterwards when the crowd was giving the player the bronx cheers while he was coming off on the streatcher.

Anyway dont complain and dont explain your actions next time. I dont think it will get to Quarter time the next time these two sides meet, Team sheets are great for giving players names and we know which guys we are targeting next time we play you Kingsley......

yeh my bad. i only briefly saw him on monday morning had a quick chat about the game. must've misheard him.

There is obviously a few issues here Premiership Hangover. I did see on Kingsley's Facebook page that they would be targeting the crowd and certain players aswell so it obviously worked. No problems with the umpires having a beer are the game, I'd suggest most people do to, so I'm not sure why them umpires can't. I wouldn't using Kingsley's violence as an excuse for the 200 point turn around that has occurred between Kingsley v Lynwood since you both played in Round1. Also unless you feel like Lynwood Ferndale will be relegated than you may not play Kingsley for a while yet. If you do, I'm sure you can sort out your differences in C2 next season.

The Kingsley players and supporters have acted in a disgraceful manner now for a number of years and is probably why they are one of if not the most hated team in the Ammos. Clubs like them need to be fobbed in more often so they are held accountable for their actions.

I watched a bit of the reserves game for lynwood Kingsley, and even the Kingsley reserved felt the need to be dirty! Some old guy with big tough man tats made a heavy tackle to start the game on number 17 from lynwood. The tackle was fair and all, but it was how he felt the need too chase him up after near the boundary and throw elbows and fists at this kid! It was just unwarranted!

Later on in the game even tho they were miles ahead they still felt the need to throw elbows n such! Just a gutless act by Kingsley and need to have a good hard look at themselves!

Credit to lynwood for just copping it and not fighting back!

And I won't say more on the league game as all has been said already!

Premiership Hangover.....you realise that Kingsley and Kingsway are two completely different clubs? Unless they merged on the weekend to verse Lynwood?

If a team kicks a goal and then a few of them start getting into an opposition player, I can bet that it was because that said player was being chirpy and/or dirty and they felt the need to remind him that they just slotted a goal. Happens all the time in footy, amateurs and wafl and afl. The fact that Lynwood ended up with 2 yellows and a red, whilst no word on a Kingsley/Kingsway card surely explains that Lynwood were obviously the dirty team in this situation.

Kingsley's crowd was very vocal when we versed them at their home ground, just like I expect our crowd to be as vocal (if not more vocal) when they play us at our home. I didnt find anything nasty about the way they played or their supporters. Remember fellas, this is Footy, not netball.

Firstly Soprano, no one likes a smart ass clearly it was a mistake with the names.

Secondly, seeing as two of the yellow cards were for verbal abuse to the umpires when they questioned why nothing was happening to the Kingsley players for their treatment on the young lywood player who was just set upon by 6 or so players. Given the card situation and the fact that the lywood player was then stretchered off after being stomped on in the melee and requires a total knee reco, would you like to revisit your comments on who was being dirty? Maybe you should not comment on things when you don't know what you're talking about, or even better just not comment at all.

Ok. If I end up having my end of season party Old Mate you are definitely not invited. Don't sign up to a forum and have your first post attacking a seasoned pro like Soprano. Both teams are clearly at fault. IT IS never ok to abuse an umpire end of story. 6 players don't just attack someone because they feel like it. Whatever he (or she) said it clearly upset a few Kingsley people. I doubt if you can prove that someone stomped a player on the ground.
Here's a few facts for Lynwood. They were towelled up by the bottom team in the competition.
It's taken a loss to the bottom team to see people comment on this forum. Win lose or draw Mr Myaterious will be here to post and give a fair and accurate account of what has happened.
