Well we've reached the half way mark of the year and one thing is clear - Quinns are the team to beat! The Bulls have taken all before them and dispatched top three rival Warnbro on their own turf to stamp their authority on the comp. CVPSP accounted for old rivals Kenwick and sit alone in second place. Canningvale returned to the winners list with a big win over the struggling Manniing Rippers. Bassendean continued their resurgence with a comfortable win over SNESA. The Valley paid the price for a quarter and a half of unaccountable footy and fell at home to Mosman Park. The games was an arm wrestle for the first 10-15 minutes, a point or two apiece. Mossie broke away and kicked 4 goals to have a good lead at the break. They continued on in the second running free to half a ten goal lead at half time. The Valley fired up in the second half and won the half but never threatened going down by 7 goals. The Mossie Park full forward made the most of some great delivery and kicked 9 goals I believe. Very quick over the first 20, good set of hands and a lovely kick of the pill!
