Any update on view vs river?

Also thanks to knob from secrets for yelling "why are these guys top of the table, they're crap" after scoring the first two goals of the game, gave us more incentive to make sure you have a long drive back to north Albany

The View by about 12 goals in the league and by 15 goals in the ressies.

Screech and FL87 taking a while to put a summary up for last Saturdays game. I'm interested in your thoughts along with reviews from the other games bulldog and dickkyboy.
We were stoked with our efforts especially with a couple of outs. Our colts boys who filled the void did extremely well. Home games for us are so much easier,with 3 teams all supporting each other and our resources not as stretched.

well what can i say about the past weeks game. ressies were under the pump from the start with only 20 rocking up and alot of players that shouldnt have played but in saying that we got beaten by a well structured team that never let us get our game going. to their credit they didnt let up either and showed us the type of footy we have to bring to be competitive in the second half of the season.

the league well when you go into half time 11 goals to 1 you know you have done something wrong. your full forward was taking everything and anything all day and credit to our full back who stayed on him and havled the contest by days end. your midfield was reading our ruckman(didnt think he lost a tap all day) much better than we were and getting it to your forwards advantage more than most. to your credit you didnt let us get our game plan into action and it showed. to our boys we have to work on the areas and keep our heads up for another big game on the weekend when we travel to Brentwood to take on another finals contender.

mad dog: how much easier is it having a colts team play before you as obviously we dont have one and hopefully getting one in the next year or two.

Happy our Colts had a SENSATIONAL win against Kwinana; but them starting at 12.30pm at Kwinana with League players coaching etc - was really unfair.

Meant that we were 4.8 to 1.2 down against Ossie Park @ 1/4 time. After 1.4 time few league boys arrived from the Colts and we were able to get our rotations going etc. Dominated the contest for the next 2.5 quarters.

Had the game. Had It. Had It. Had It. 13.13.91 to 9.13.67 with ~7 minutes to go.

Unfortunately we conceded 3 goals straight from the center bounce due to one thing or another.

Fortunately as we had a poor percentage anyway - and with Roleystone winning. We see ourselves in the 5 for the first time this year and probably not having to worry about percentage.

I think we should stay there but will take some hard work. Looking forward to a big effort against Secret Harbour at home this week. All three sides are there - so that's a MASSIVE help.

Brentwood vs secret harbour was a hard fought win, secrets got off to a quick 3 goal head start then we started getting some of the midfield ball again and were down a goal or so at quarter time. 2 qt again very even, brentwood down a couple points at half time. Third quarter we started to get on top of them with the little breeze that there was and held a 10 point lead going into the 4th. In the 4th we knew they would come hard, we halved every contest got about 3 goals up, they came back to bring it to a 5 point game with about 5 mins to go, was just ball up after ball up, eventually we took a mark in the goal square with 1 minute to go to give us a 10 puint buffer and that was all she wrote.

Secrets coach was cutting sick at umpires, recons our is a cheat, but have had him all year and have never heard any one else complain. I understand he might make mistakes, but think he makes them consistantly so cant ask for more than that. Was pretty average performance from their coach yelling obscenities all day and basically pretty glad we won. Secrets didnt show much respect and in the end got found out.

DB, make sure you pay close attention to Rhino, number 11, he was their best by far and can reallty hurt you.

Screech we only have the colts playing before us at home games as they were put in the higher division colts. They are definitely one of our strengths as we had 7 play league on Saturday. Some of them are regulars but we try rotate them through. And when we are at home it allows us to double one or two up if the league or ressies have a late withdrawal as was the case on Saturday luckily. 2 boys doubled into ressies to give them 21 and one into league to make our 22.

Sorry lads, been busy with inductions and whatnot for my new job. I played probably about 20 mins of the reserve game as I was an emergency due to my quick healing hamstring injury which occurred 2 weeks ago today. Didn't hang around for the league game as had to head off for family function. Screech covered the basis of the game so I believe there will be a bit to work on tonight at training.

Could be Ryan Nye played for Safety bay a few years ago then went to peel.
I think he may have been on Adelaides list at some stage also.
