Round 9 this weekend, by the end of this round each team will have played each other and we are starting to get a real idea of who will be playing finals. For some teams this weekend is an 8 point game. And could mean the difference between a home final, or not playing finals at all.

Coolbinia West Perth v Kingsway

CWP are sitting only spot above relegation yet they still sit 1 game outside the 5. Kingsway will be looking to win continue the good from they have shown because a loss here and they drift away from the top 2. I expect Kingsway to win, but don't be surprised if CWP do have a win.
Kingsway by 2 goals

Gosnells v Lynwood Ferndale MOTR

Match of the round here.I notice some of Gosnells player have left the club before last weekend and will be playing in the Peel Football League so never handy to lose a couple of good players. Especially with a big game this weekend. With 4th and 5th spot up for grabs. This game will go along way to deciding the ladder positions. Maybe even for the return fixture in Round18. Its a Rematch of last seasons C2 Grand Final. I am going with Gosnells to seek revenge.
Gosnells by 2 goals

Ocean Ridge v Kelmscott

Another very important game here. Kelmscott lose and they could fall 8 points behind 1st. Onion Ridge lose and they could fall 8 points behind 5th. Onion Ridge have under performed after last seasons effort. Whilst Kelmscott has been going about there business and are looking to go straight back to B grade. Kelmscott may take the chocolates here
Kelmscott by 4 goals

Kingsley v Wanneroo

Northern Suburbs derby. Kingsley had a suprise win last weekend. Their first in 25 games. They will be looking to continue that winning feeling. Unfortunately they come up against a very good Wanneroo team who is yet to be beaten. Can Kingsley do the unthinkable and record yet another win? Well anything can happen in football. But I don't think Kingsley can win here
Wanneroo by 10 goals

Melville v Thornlie

It's no surprises Melville need a win here to try and get something from the season. Finals are still a possibility. Thornlie need a win here after losing to Kingsley, to try and avoid relegation. Should be a good day down at Rams Stadium for Melville. ( I also here they have something special planned for Mr Mysterious trip down next weekend.)
Melville by 5 goals

Goodluck for this weekends games everybody. May the victories be sweet, but the beer taste sweeter.

A couple of "interesting" clearances across some teams this week. The trade window does close June 30. Mr Mysterious is open to a trade, will play for canteen and beer vouchers.

Ho ho ho.
Santa has been receiving mail about this footygoss business and thought he'd take a look for himself.
Lets get into it

Cwp v king
Thinking this one could be a close one. Tight until 3 quarter time but kingsway to pull away late. Kingsway by 19 points

Gos v lyn
After reading many posts about last weeks fixture a few gosnells boys have been put on the naughty list. Going by the ladder should be another good game. Lynwood by 8 points

Ridge v kelm
Kelmscott with a big percentage tells me they r a pretty good attacking side. Ridge won't be able to slow that down and kelmscott to be victorious. Kelmscott by 53 points.

Kingsley v wann
Christmas has come early for these 2 teams as Santa will be coming down to watch his first game for the year. Going to be a boring game I know but after reading so many posts over the weeks I'm looking forward to seeing why this no.14 bloke is hated so much and also to try find this Mr Mysterious bloke. He's like a god on here. Plus Santa doesn't mind a frothy and if you're still awarding that prize as to guessing who you are I'm up for the challenge.
On the game nothing much to say wanneroo by 108 points

Mel v thorn
Both teams struggling and either side would love a win before the 2nd half of the season starts. Melville to be to strong and win by 26 points.

Good luck to all teams
Regards Saint Nick

SantaClaus, welcome. Can I ask you a quick question. When I was 10 I asked for a basketball ring for Christmas yet I never received it. My hopes of being the next James "Alabama Slammer" Crawford were dashed.
Xavier2 instead of paying me beer vouchers, I suggest you put your money into sorting out your hot chip situation. Then next season we can talk Turkey so to speak

My apologies to you Mr Mysterious I don't know how that could have happened. The only thing I could think of is that your chimney was to small for the package. In that case I leave presents like that at the door and depending on which suburb you're in it might have been pinched.

Xavier2 perhaps you are the one needing a clearance. I'll set one up for you.

Some players that have been cleared are swtiching from old clubs to new clubs halfway trough the season. Kingsway have a few ins. but some notable ones include the Yarrans from Gosnells to Peel Football League Jarrod Ninyette from Gosnells to Kelmscott. Not sure why of the move perhaps it's closer to home, or perhaps it's due to other reasons.

Santa I am actually known as the Mayor of my city, so it's unfortunate that has happend.

Speaking of clearances I hear that a certain north of the river club has reluctantly cleared a player to another north of the river club as the player was offered work with the coach of one of their teams only if he switched clubs!
