All teams rested up and raring to go I imagine! Fifth spot on the ladder is wide open, and third and fourth are not out of reach if lower clubs can find some form.

Manning V Canning VPSP

Even Manning's narrow ground won't help them here, Canning have been solid and will win easily.

Bassendean v Swan Valley

A match pivotal to the Valley keeping their finals aspirations alive. Thay have taken care of the bottom two sides to break their duck, now they need to beat a side competing for the bottom end of the five.

Valley in a tight one.

Kenwick v SNESA

An interesting game this one! Whilst Kenwick haven't won a game they have for the most part been very competitive. SNESA started like a house on fire but hvae fallen away.

Will take SNESA but would not be surprised if the Wickers get up at home.

Quinns v Canningvale

The all conquering Bulls host the Cougars who have struggled to match the top sides after looking good against the strugglers. I can't see that changing here, the Bulls will be far too strong.

Quinns by 5 goals plus.

Mosman Park v Warnbro

The Mossies have started to show a bit and are now another side sniffing around the bottom of the eight. I think they'll have to put those ambitions on hold for a week as Warnbro are a different proposition.

Warnbro easily for me.

Canning
Canning have showed they are clearly in the best few teams in the competition. A very well rounded side. Manning have clearly been struggling all year, can't see this game being any different. Canning by lots.

Bassendean
Bassendean have been hot and cold through the first 7-games, I thought they were back on track before losing to the lowly Mosman Park. Yet to be seen whether that is a reflection on Basso playing bad or Mossie playing well. The Valley aren't a bad side either, but have only beat the tail end sides on the ladder, they need this one to stay in the hunt for a finals berth. Bassendean at home though should win.

SNESA
SNESA have had an up and down season as well, and I agree with Dingo's thoughts on this game, I think Kenwick are a chance to get their first win on the board. The Harris brothers against each other in this game will be interesting. Although they won't go within 100m of each other I think whoever kicks more goals out of the two will help their side to a win. For me though, can't pick the Royals so I'll pick SNESA.

Canningvale
Haven't been training as I am still suffering from a sore hammy, so not sure how many boy we have back or on the park after having lots out for the past two games. But I know we will be hungry to put up a show against the powerhouse team in Quinns.

Warnbro
Warnbro coming off a big last 1/4 against Canningvale to make the score look like a blow out. Don't get me wrong, they are a good side, but in my eyes, Canning are better. Mosman Park beat Basso last game and would consider themselves a chance for this one as well. Can't see them matching it with Warnbro for 4-quarters though.

I hope everyone enjoyed their break, and I am glad the footy is back.

As always, good luck to all, and lets keep C2 rolling with good, clean hard and fair footy!
Loves kicking goals, passing them off is only an option.

well i hope everyone had an eventful weekend off.

Manning V CVPSP
small grounds always make for fun games. the odd shape of Mannings oval also adds to the different feel. coming off the break may help manning a little as Canning may have slacked then again it may have rejuvenated them for an assault on the second half of the season. either way i think canning will win probably by a fair amount.

Bassendean Vs Swan Valley
the valley jumped out of the gates against us and will need to do the same against Basso. Basso have showed they are more than capable of matching the best when their best is available though from what i hear FIFO plays havoc with their teams. i think Basso will be too strong for the Valley at Jubilee and win by 5-6 goals

Kenwick V SNESA
another chance for us to snare our first win hopefully our Harris outshines their Harris on the day and we can take the bickies. we trust our backline to be able to handle Ben and are hoping to make it a very tough day at the office for him.

Quinns V Canningvale
it's a long drive up to Quinns and then you have to play against a very very good team. Canningvale probably more than most have the runners to stay with Quinns but i think Quinns have more presence on the field. though i don't think it will be too lopsided i think Quinns will win comfortably.

Mosman Park V Warnbro
haven't played at Mosman park so i don't know about the size of the oval. Warnbro seemed to thrive on the space of their oval i don't know how they will fair on smaller grounds. Mosman park have some strong inside players but seemed to lack the outside support when they played us. this led me to think they played on a smaller oval with a lot of contests. i will tip Warnbro but i think this will be a closer game than the ladder would suggest

MANNING v CANNING SP
these two clubs love to play each other as there is a bit of past rivalry. canning i think just to strong around the kidney bean ground as i hear some of the younger minning players starting to leave!
CANNING by 20+goals

BASSENDEAN v SWAN VALLEY (GOTR)
this is GOTR for me as both of these two teams could fight it out for the 5th spot on the ladder. i should imagine that the first team to take controll early should win and if it is basso at home kick a few in front early they will be hard to catch.
BASSENDEAN by 3 goals

KENWICK v SNESA
Kenwick still win less just need to find that winning feeling and get back some momentum. Snesa do have a bit of run and like to play wide but if kenwick can stop this and control the corridor then should be a close game. This was very close for my other GOTR. but.......... im going to tip an upset. common kenwick dont let me down. both Harris boys on show but the one from Snesa to miss a shot after the siren for KENWICK to win by 3points

QUINNS v CANNINGVALE
if canningvale have gotten over some injuries they come close, and if not then they are in some real trouble. Not much depth in there 2s and all it takes is to miss 1 or 2 key players and it can hurt some teams. Quinns comming along just nicely and should win at home
QUINNS by 7 goals

Mosman Park v WARNBRO
both teams should match up well after both comming down from last year C1. You would think that both should already know how they play and will pan out to be a good match. warnbro have the upper hand at the moment and will put this one away.
WARNBRO by 6 goals

good luck to all this weekend.
and to the players in the state team.
