Thanks FL87 for last week, i was busy up north cathcing fish, was very excited to see the bulldogs remain undefeated and look forward to the challenge of running off 10 packs of smokes and 6 cartons this week...

Last weeks winners were TA, Secrets, River, Woods and Jandakot. All home teams, which sucks for me as i couldnt get my tips in! and ill give the boys 5 from last week, just the way the coockie crumbles i suppose!

on to standings, B'Man has been ommitted to many non tips

Maddog - 4 - 23
FL87 - 4 - 21
BD1980 - 0 - 20
Footblr - 3 - 18
Screech - 3 - 18
RJ - 3 - 18

on to this weeks games

Swanview vs Jandakot

Swanview will be looking to bounce back after their first loss and Jandakot are on a roll slipping into the top 5. I think Swanview will be too strong here and will win comfortably

Roleystone Vs Secret Harbour

Secret harbour are flying under the radar at the minute, not much said about them but sitting pretty of 5-1, whilst roleystone had a flyer to the year appears the wheels may have fallen off very early, i expect they will bounce back at some stage, may have a number of injuries, but secrets for me this week

Cobra's vs T/A's

Cobra's in a world of pain at the minute with 0 wins for the year but they have a red hot chance this week agaisnt a clubs forth side. I would love to tip cobra's in an upset but last weeks lack of tips has my head thinking T/A's will get the job done and stay in touch with the top 5

Wembly vs River

Wembley also reeling at 0 wins for the year but being a 4ths might not be as concerned. River really picked up ther game since round one and could be a bit of a dark horse early in the season. River by plenty here.

OP vs Brentwood

Osborne park seem to have slipped a bit this year, think they made finals last year but are sitting 1-5 so far coming up against the undeafeated brentwood who have now become the hunted. Know nothing about OP and looking farward to meeting them and seeing a new ground, brentwood to win in a tough fought contest.

Swan View (2nd) vs. Jandakot (5th)

Swan View were going well, until last week against the other undefeated team in Brentwood. Watching Swan View, the tempo was definitely higher than the other teams I’ve seen play this year. Jandakot have had three wins in a row, against 9th, 10th and the out of form Roleystone. Jandakot will try hard, although from what I have seen last week, Swan View looked a step above other teams. Swan View by 7 Goals

Roleystone (6th) vs. Secret Harbour (4th)

Roleystone are falling apart losing three straight, while Secret Harbour are quietly notching up win by win. I still haven’t seen Secret Harbour play and being new to the competition they still remain a dark horse. They have only lost to Southern River, but are still yet to play Brentwood or Swan View. Secret Harbour will want to use Roley for a warm up to the two big weeks that will follow. Secret Harbour by 5 goals.

Cobras (9th) vs. Trinity Aquinas (7th)

Cobras haven’t been able to find a win yet this season, and will have to beat these teams if they are going to get up the ladder. Finals are still possible, and after this week they play 8th and 10th before getting the chance to make amends on the return legs. TAs are fighting hard, being a 3rds team playing 1st teams, and although only has two wins to their name, they are only 4 points outside the 5, and could be in at the midway point vsing 10th and 6th after this week. It’s a huge game for both teams, and I think Cobras will get up by 2 goals to give them some hope for the season.

Wembley (10th) vs. Southern River (3rd)

In my mind, southern river are in the top 3 for a reason. Their only loss is a faint memory all the way back in Round 1 and will be looking forward to test themselves in the coming weeks against 4th and 2nd and then show Brentwood they were just having an off day last time. Wembley haven’t displayed much, and in turn haven’t notched up a win yet. It won’t be easier for them this week. Southern River by 11 goals.

Osborne Park (8th) vs. Brentwood Booragoon (1st)

Osborne Park are 1 from 6 and really need to get up and show the competition that they can compete. Best chance to make the competition take notice is to beat the undefeated in Brentwood. They will be throwing everything they can at the Doggies to get their campaign back on track. Brentwood are playing hard footy each week, let’s hope they don’t become complacent and think the hard work is over in beating Swan View. Brentwood to win by 8 goals.

another week of footy is upon and isn't it great. the ladder is getting somewhat divided and it looks like the top 4 are looking the goods to be playing finals only 1 game with percentage is separating them. The rest of the teams look like they will fight it out for that elusive 5th spot. might be to early to say that as not everyone has played everyone but with games going the way they are it is also hard not to say it.

to this week's game and there are some pivotal games for some clubs this week already.

Swan View v Jandakot.
Swan View got the first taste of defeat last week and i can easily say that they wouldn't like the taste of it. I predict they will be coming out hard and hungry for that win and unfortunately Jandakot will be the team that will have to deal with this. Jandakot have 3 in row and even tho they come up against swan view winning is winning and going in with that form is their best chance in this game. Swan View by 10 goals

Roleystone v Secret Harbour
What has happened to Roleystone injuries? fifo? players just not showing up? Whatever it is they have to fix it and fix it fast as losing three in a row is never good and coming up a team that is sitting 5-1 is not the best thing either. they will have to play the small mud pit to perfection to have a chance here. Secret Harbour sitting 4th but only on percentage but yet to face the top two teams. this is a must win for them to keep in touch with the top teams as losing this might not be the only one they loose over the next three weeks. Secret Harbour by 6 goals.

Cockburn v Trinity Aquinas GOTR
This one might not seem a good choice for game of the round but both teams have everything to play for here. if TA win they stay in touch they lose then almost kiss the season goodbye. Cockburn this a must win game for them. lose and that is there season which is surprising as they aren't that bad of a team. they have some good structures and just need to play four quarters and they will get there. going for Cockburn in an upset by 2 goals

Wembley v Southern River
Southern River turned up at half time last week and stamped their authority on Cockburn in a big way there was only 3 goals in it at half time but then they played there way and showed Cockburn why they are sitting 3rd. Wembley even tho have lost all their games haven't been disgraced in any only losing by 3-4 goals each time. this won't be a easy game for river. River by 6 goals

Osborne Park v Brentwood
Brentwood put the stamp on the competition beating fellow heavy weights swan view last week and deserve the tag Flag Favourites at this stage of the year. they have done nothing wrong and past every test in their path. Osborne park on the other hand languishing in 8th after playing finals last season is surprising. O/park have to show some grunt about them and hit Brentwood hard and then get their running game on if they have a chance to win here. Brentwood by 5 goals.

good luck to all.

SWAN VIEW-Will enjoy being back at home after 2 weeks away and looking to hit back hard after last weeks poor effort.
SECRET HARBOUR-Have had the one slip up but otherwise been impressive to date. Should account for Roleystone easily
TA's-Like I said a few weeks ago,if they can keep a consistent team together will be more than nuisance value throughout the year. Could sneak into the 5.
SOUTHERN RIVER-Wembly will be competetive and wouldn't shock to see them get up but have to go with the form
BRENTWOOD-Will remain undefeated.
