Wondering what clubs have done with 3rds and 4ths also 2nd colts. With some players maybe choosing to sit out the season due to covid and maybe finding other things to do. Nominations are closed it’ll be interesting what changes to the grades are made. Can anyone that is at a club that has now chosen to not have that extra side let us know and if they are likely to get those players back next year. There’ll also be a few clubs with strong reserve sides if they can manage to get a few country player in that’ll be 4 points. Interesting year of footy.

FYI - Country players will be worth 3 points.

There are no 4 point players under the current system.

the shortened season will be very interesting indeed.
some clubs dropping out lower grads to help strengthen numbers in higher grades. To add to that some country leagues announcing that they will not be continuing this year so maybe looks like some players will be looking for clubs to get too. Does anyone know when the clearance date cut off is?
On a side note, I did see the PFL announcement on the season starting July 4 so I would expect that the new fixtures should start to show soon.

So we have 10 less men's teams, increased women's footy by 12 teams and one less colts side. Bring it on!

I would think there will be a few intra clubs this weekend and even some scratch matches to be played, to start dusting off the cob webs and to start to have a feel for that body contact again
