Really tight game out at Karoonda under lights on Saturday with Brentwood's winning margin coming through a 15 minute burst in the 2nd quarter.

Fair to say the game was pretty evenly matched outside of that period. Noticed the big CHF from Swan view was missing who no doubt will have an impact in the return leg. Good hard footy all round with plenty of sore bodies Sunday morning.

Brentwood Booragoon vs. Swan View – Reserves

Both teams were very even throughout the match. The telling factor in the 1st quarter was Swan View’s Full Forward was kicking truly while Brentwood’s forwards were a bit off the mark. At the half time point there was 4 goals in it. Third quarter was goal for goal. In the 4th both teams kept fighting hard and Swan View were able to hold up the game enough to maintain the margin. The Brentwood boys had a lot of positives coming out of the game, although we are building a list of teams we need to make amends with on the return leg.

Brentwood Booragoon vs. Swan View – League

Was a pretty hard and fast game. From previous results, Brentwood had the highest points for, while Swan View has the lowest points against. The first quarter was evenly matched, with Brentwood up by a few points at the 1/4 time break. Brentwood were a step above in the 2nd Quarter to break open the game getting up by about 7 goals at half time. Third quarter was pretty tight with not much scoring, maybe 2 goals each team for the quarter. In the fourth Swan View were fighting hard to get back in it being the more attacking team, with Brentwood holding it up and providing some great torps out from the backline to get out of danger. Brentwood held up to come out 6 goal winners.

Brentwood remain undefeated and come up against Osborne Park at Robinson Reserve next week, while Swan View come back home and try to get back on the winners list against the resurgent Jandakot Jets.

Also interesting to see Jandakot getting a convincing win over Roley to get in the top 5. They will be happy to show they can beat more than the 9th and 10th places in the comp. Big task for them next week with Swan View.

Do we know the other results with TAs and OP, and SH and Wembley?

Thanks Mate. Yeah was huge! Probably needed our club rooms to be 3x the size to accommodate the people.

Oh well - this time in two years we should be well on the way to our extended rooms!!!

sorry DB just realised i will not be avaiable on the 8/6 so wont be playing at all, might be able to get down for the end of the league game for a quick beer
