Thanks for your best wishes on a great victory. Still celebrating. The only thing done Diedrie is your club. Done like a dinner. Maybe at your agm you could ask why has your club been speaking to my club about a future arrangement? why has your club been speaking to another club about a future arrangement? And has your club breached its licence?

From memory they were fined for salary cap breaches in 2002, 2011 and 2020 which was a particularly nasty one where we also saw Ditchburn take a fall...but I could be wrong.

It comes down to one single thing, with the addition of anywhere from 11 to 17
AFL listed players, Peelmantle can and have won premierships. Without those AFL players Peel would struggle to make finals, which was clearly the case before they were taken over by Freo.

Take a look at Peel's F&B SS.....4 Freo boys in the top 5....and Peel doesn't fork out one cent for them.....no wonder why Big D is so happy

They do have to fork out for the two compulsory audits they are subject to each year - though Cockburn probably chips in a bit too.

Given they've been done 3 times for salary cap breaches, it's essential they are monitored as closely as possible.

Interesting to see the likes of premiership boys in Taberner, Sebit, Hughes, et al jump ship once the Freo dollars won't be paying their Peel wages.....understand Jones from WCE jumping ship to SF, because WCER are shite....but aren't Peel the reigning premiers on the hunt for a repeat?

Totally understandable. Why would any de-listed player want to stay with the Club whose bosses sacked you?

OTO, but I thought Peel won that flag off their own back.....why not hang around for a repeat?. Are you saying Peel aren't the true WAFL club their fans think they are?
